THIRD PERSON POV

RILEY'S EYES slowly open, the light from the sun shining down bright into the athlete's shared room. whoever said no one remembers from when they're drunk is a liar, because riley unfortunately remembered everything. her head felt like it was pounding, she regretted even going to that party.

her body was embraced with lynn's clothes, which riley would probably be fawning over if she wasn't so caught up reminiscing the moments of last night. the apology she got from lynn, was it even sincere? the girl waited until riley was 'asleep' to even speak her mind, what she wouldn't give to get a real apology from her.

how was she going to face monday? everyone at that party now knew what riley was, what riley ultimately came to terms with what she was, gay. to be fair it was quite obvious the way she was with lynn, it's like everyone noticed besides lynn.

thank god the room was empty besides her own presence, she was conflicted, should she should ask her about the apology, or pretend it never happened? a sigh escapes the lips of the brunette, she was trapped in the room as no one knew she was even here, she couldn't just walk right out and all she wanted was a shower right now.

meanwhile lynn is only now coming back from a jog she took this morning, one of lincoln's usual orange shirts laying across her shoulder. she was freaking out, there was a girl in her bedroom, not just any girl, riley. one that probably hated her guts by now. all she wanted was to talk to her, to settle everything and have her back.

her head was practically in bits thinking about everything, so who better to get advice from than luna? she was always giving her unwanted advice, even if she did really need it. the athlete didn't even bother knocking she just walked straight in her room, "luna?" her eyes scan the room seeing no sign of the punk, only luan on her side of the room, "where's luna?"

"oh she said something about going over to sam's before they had band practice, she should be downstairs about to leave," the comedian shrugs her shoulders, looking in the direction of the girl dressed in red. lynn immediately nods her head, practically sprinting out of the room and down the stairs.

"luna!" she loudly says, searching for the older girl, hoping to catch her before she leaves.

"what's up lil' sis?" the guitarist spoke, coming towards her sister, out of the kitchen. her eyebrows were furrowed out of worry, a bagel in her hand.

"can i talk to you about something?" the jock was nervously playing with the hem of her shirt, wanting to say what she was gonna say before she changed her mind.

"can it wait? i gotta get to sam's house before we have practice," luna suggests, before noticing the nervous look planted on her sisters face, "what's up?"
