THIRD PERSON POV

RILEY'S SITTING at the end of the table, taking a slice of pizza from the middle. shes watching lynn excitedly brag about her win to her team. she admired how nice she looked with her messy ponytail, the dimples that shown when she'd let out a chuckle. her uniform fitting just right on her, and her raspy voice.

riley wouldn't admit that to her face or to anyone really, she was far too shy for that. her stare was locked on the athlete, a few feet away.

"i think your girlfriend wants your attention." margo admits nudging her head at the girl staring at lynn.

"what?" lynn looks over right at riley, their eyes meeting and riley quickly turn her head to lola, making small talk.

"riley's not my girlfriend, margo. keep it up and see what happens." lynn says, still looking over at the dark brunette. she doesn't know what crawled up margo's ass, but she's been teasing her since she got to the game today.

lynn did NOT like girls, and margo wasn't accepting that, i mean yeah she thought riley was the most prettiest girl she's ever seen, like she was straight off one of the magazine's covers that her sister leni was always reading. but she totally meant that in a friendly way. margo was taking it way out of proportion.

"hey, i didn't say any names. you looked at who you wanted to look at." margo states putting her hands up in defeat.

"ha. ha," lynn sarcastically says, "i'm gonna get her be right back."

lynn walks over to riley tapping her on the shoulder, looking down at the girl who's turning her head to look at the athlete, "hey riles, come with me, they'd love to talk to you."

lynn didn't give her a second to think before taking her hand and pulling her up, walking over to her friends. their hands attached together. looked like she had no choice, not that she minded.

a smirk planted on margo's face elbowing the girl sat next to her, zia, "ow?"

"shush, look" margo gestured at the two holding hands, walking towards them. both of the girls smirking at eachother.

"hey, again." riley smiles at the girls, her hand still in lynn's, she liked the feeling of it. friends could hold hands.

"hey riley," the dark haired girl replied, "what did you think of the game?"

"it was so amazing, you all are really good! lynn promised she would teach me sometime." riley exclaims, her free hand pointing towards lynn; "i don't know the first thing about playing baseball."
