"Pack your bags, I want you to stay with me now." The words left my
mouth with a firmness I didn’t feel. I watched as her expression shifted, shock quickly morphing into indignation.“You can’t just dictate my life like that!” she shot back, her eyes flashing with defiance.
I stepped forward, asserting my presence. “I’m not dictating anything. We’re getting married, and legally, we’re already tied. As your husband, I expect you to live with me.”
“Your husband?” She scoffed, disbelief etched across her features. “What does that even mean when I’m drowning in this situation?”
“It means we have obligations,” I replied, keeping my tone steady.
“You need to understand that this isn’t just about you anymore. You have to be by my side.”
She didn't say anything and turned to leave, Now I can't take it anymore. Without thinking I stride towards her with big steps and pinned her against the door of her room she was about to open.
“Stop right there,” I said, my voice low and intense. “You can’t just walk away from this conversation.”
Her breath hitched as surprise flickered in her eyes, but she quickly masked it with defiance. “You can’t control me like this, Jungkook.”
I leaned down dangerously close, my grip tightening around her throat, forcing her to look me in the eye.
“Look, love,”
I said, my voice low and intense.
“Tomorrow, remember, it’s our wedding.”
I watched her expression drain of color as realization hit her. A smirk crept onto my lips. “Oh, did you just remember? It was supposed to be your two-year anniversary with Taehyung.”
Tears welled in her eyes, a mix of anger and sorrow, and I couldn’t help but feel a thrill at the power I held over her.
I gently caressed her hair, an unsettling softness contrasting with the tension in the air. “I have important work to do, so by then, be ready with your luggage.”
