❝NO FUCKING WAY. OUR HYUNJIN DID THAT???!!❞
❝DAMNNNN❞
❝I'D BE DAMNED FOR REAL.❞
everyone had their minds in awe hearing the previous night's incident from minho and hyunjin.
❝you should have just left those bastards to die by beating the shit outta them. you two are too kind for that!!❞ changbin exclaimed in frustration.
hyunjin sighed in defeat. ❝we were outnumbered that's all. and moreover they ran off luckily. otherwise i'd beaten them to death for even laying a hand on mi-❞
everyone paused and looked at him and then to each other. minho was taken aback and raised a brow earning an awkward laugh from hyunjin.
he clears his throat and continues,
❝i mean for messing with us. they should also get a taste of what we are, r-right minho??❞ the other nodded and agreed.❝thank god! you guys didn't get seriously hurt though!!❞ said felix, worriedly, checking both of them.
❝you two should be careful. just in case you encounter them or people like them again.❞ seungmin showed concern earning understanding nods from both his friends.
changbin got up from his seat and started to act as if he would beat those people right there to which felix and jisung held his arms. ❝IF I EVER SEE THOSE SCUMBAGS, IM CRUSHING THEM TO DEATH. MARK MY WORDS!❞
everyone calmed him down and reassured him. changbin's concern was obviously genuine as they were his beloved friends.
❝alright then, we should head back to our classrooms or our teacher will reach before us.❞ jisung said as he got up from his seat. hyunjin and chan got up too.
❝see you guys later, then!❞ felix and his friends waved at them as they walked out of the classroom with their hands high.
❝who were those guys though minho, do you know them??❞ jeongin asked, with sharp concern on his face as he placed his hands on minho's shoulder.
minho shook his head, sighed. ❝not at all. they were just a bunch of drunkards ready to get in a mess with just anyone, i believe.❞ seungmin and felix agreed with him and assured jeongin not to worry.
their teacher entered and they turned their backs to the seats.
while minho's classroom had already settled into the rhythm of the day, hyunjin's felt slower, almost weighed down by the warm embrace of the summer morning. the sunlight poured through the tall windows, casting streaks of gold on the desks, while the slow-moving hum of the ceiling fans did little to cool the room.
hyunjin leaned back in his heat, absently tracing the back of his notebook with his finger. the faint murmur of classmates exchanging quiet whispers and the teacher's explanation filled the air, blending with the occasional rustle of paper and the rhythmic ticking of the wall clock.
the lingering ache from the fight no longer occupied his thoughts, replaced instead by the steady, almost lulling monotony of the morning. for a moment, he let his gaze wander to the open window, where a light breeze stirred the leaves outside. ah, what a beautiful scenery it is. he allowed himself to enjoy the quiet - until a crumpled ball of paper landed on his desk with a soft thud, breaking the tranquility.
raising his eyes, he finally noticed the figure staring right into his soul. ❝Mr Hwang, please pay attention here!!❞
he adjusted his seat uncomfortably with an awkward smile and bowed in an apologetic manner.
