Xinyu POV

I don't know how long we've been on the beach, all I know is that the wind is getting stronger. I feel cold because I gave my jacket to Sohyun. Do I regret it? Of course not. She's sad and there's no one else next to her, who can blame her?

"Do you want to go home?" she didn't answer. There wasn't even a response from her body.

"Sohyun?" I tried to shake her body, and it turned out she was just asleep.

"Did you cry until you fell asleep like this? How hurt are you that you never told anyone?" I said while wiping her tears.

"Shall we go home?" while I hugged her, while I looked for contacts who might still be awake at this hour.

"But if I call my classmates, they'll be really suspicious. Maybe Ning-Ning?" I chose to call Ning-Ning even though I wasn't sure if she would pick up my call.

"You know what time it is, right?"

"NING ZIE!! Thank God you picked up. I'll send you the location, please use car later. I've found Sohyun Where is it"

"Seriously?!"

"Seriously"

"Okay, I'll go there"

"Hurry up though. It's really cold" Ning – Ning didn't answer, and just hung up.

I just realized, it turns out that Sohyun kept holding my hand the whole time I met her. Her grip on my hand seemed to explain that she didn't want to let me go no matter what. I don't know what Handong had told me, but it was clear that Sohyun felt hurt because of the story.

"Sohyun, don't worry. I'm not going anywhere"

Not long after, Ning – Ning came with her favorite car. Usually she forbade anyone from entering, or even touching her car. Why did she pick Sohyun up with her car now? I don't know, it's just her choice.

"Open the door" Ning – Ning listened and helped me by opening the back door so Sohyun could lie down. But as soon as I let go of my grip, she immediately woke up with a face that wanted to cry.

"Xinyu..."

"Why? I'm here" she whined and stretched her arms towards me as if she wanted to hug me again.

"drunk" Ning-ning said.

"drunk from the beach wind. I'll just put my motorbike here. I'll take the car too. Remind me to pick up the motorbike tomorrow morning" I immediately sat next to Sohyun with Sohyun's head on my thigh. Sohyun quickly hugged my stomach. Quite tightly because I'm sure I had a little trouble breathing.

"Why? Won't let go?" I could feel her small shaking right on my stomach.

"Thanks..." she whispered which I could still hear.

"You're welcome. Now go back to sleep" I said while stroking her head gently.

It seemed like I really fell in love with her.

"Wow, you're dating"

"Noisy"

The journey we took was quite long. All I could hear was the sound of the car and Sohyun's light snoring. When I saw Sohyun, I remembered everything Handong said. What Handong said was true, but I don't think he should tell her now. 

"in your opinion" just 1 word, Ning-ning already glanced at the rearview mirror.

"look ahead"

"what do you want to ask?"

"Will Sohyun forgive Handong?" I could hear Ning-ning sigh, but didn't get an answer from her right away. Until finally we stopped at a red light, she opened her mouth and gave her answer.

"in my opinion she will be forgiven. After all, Sohyun has been bullied a lot. If she really holds a grudge, coupled with the fact that she is a criminal child, at least there is news about the bully's body at school. Isn't there any evidence? Maybe she will forgive Handong." The light showed green. Before driving, Ning-ning had time to give her last sentence.

"although it might take a long time"

We arrived home which was immediately greeted by Handong with a worried expression. Of course Handong was also worried. Even though she was the one who made Sohyun feel hurt and ran away to the beach which was 30 minutes from home, she was still worried because Handong was the type of person who realized her mistakes. He immediately helped us to bring Sohyun to my room. Me? Of course I followed her.

"You sleep here, okay?" Handong said while gently stroking Sohyun's head.

"She won't reply to what you say," said Ning - Ning.

"I know. And it took a long time for her to reply to what I said. But I don't mind. I know it's my fault, so I'll give her some space," she said before leaving my room.

I looked at Sohyun who looked weak, occasionally sobs came out of her with her hands wiping her tears. Even though she was sleeping, she was still the same Sohyun when she woke up. I have to admit, I was fooled by her beauty, but at the same time I also felt her pain. Even though I never felt trust or affection from my parents, I felt it.

I slowly lay down next to her while gently stroking her head.

"Sorry I'm late"

I could see her slowly opening her slightly swollen eyes. It did look funny, I wasn't lying. I let out a small laugh when I saw her face and managed to make her hit me, although not hard.

"Are you laughing at me?"

"No. I'm laughing at myself, why am I so know to where you are?" I said in a joking tone that managed to make her laugh a little.

"Even though it took a long time"

"Just 5 minutes"

"It's the same" she said while stroking my hand gently.

"Thanks"

"You're welcome. Now you go to sleep, then go to school tomorrow, okay? The other friends are already looking for you" even though it was in the dark, I could still see that Sohyun smiled a little while nodding her head.

"Are they waiting?"

"You could say that"

We talked all night, more precisely I was the one who did most of the talking. Sohyun just listened, sometimes responding to me although not much. I tried my best not to bring back what Handong was talking about because I didn't want her to run to the beach again because it was already 2 am.

"Go to sleep. We have class at 7 am"

The next day, Sohyun and I went to school together. I bet all my money that my classmates would be very noisy when they saw Sohyun back in school. And it was true. From Seoyeon to Jiyeon, they were excited when they saw Sohyun back in class.

"YAH PARK SOHYUN!!"

"I MISSED YOU!!"

"HOW ARE YOU?"

"IS XINYU BUGGING YOU?"

"I WANT TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING"

And many more. They were so noisy that I couldn't help but listen to them.

"So where did you find her?" Nien asked clearly because she was the only one who knew about me looking for Sohyun who "disappeared".

"At the Beach"

"What was that crazy person doing at the beach at 11 pm?"

"How should I know? Ask her"
