16: Drink

Zee was rubbing Nunew's back as the younger leans his head on his shoulder. They just came up from the restroom after Nunew vomitted almost everything that he drank while Zee patted his back. In front of them are Yim and Tutor with Yim looking more wasted than Nunew.

Zee took a bottle of water from the table and opened it. He offered to Nunew while he continues to rub his back.

"Nhu? Have some water. It will help you feel better"
Zee softly tells him.

Nunew lifted his head from Zee's shoulder, took the bottle from Zee and slowly had a sip.

"Hia. Are we having an earthquake? Shouldnt we evacuate?"
Nunew drunkenly mumbled making Zee chuckle.

"You shouldnt have had that much alcohol Nunew"
Zee said to him as he allows Nunew to lean on him again.

"It's Yim's fault"
Nunew pouted

"How the fuck is it my fault? It was James who keep on us bringing shots"
Yim whined

"Not my fault you two are lightweight"
James calmly said as he plays with his phone. He looked so sober as if he hadnt had a drink yet.

"Im gonna go dance some more while you two drown in your vomits"
James laughs at the two drunk friends.

"Is Nunew alright? Mix will kill me."
Boun said when he passed by them.

"You? Why not Zee?"
Faye asked and Zee raised an eyebrow at her.

"I messaged him earlier to tease him that I met his brother. He told me to keep an eye on him"
Boun explained

"He will probably stomp all the way from the on-call room if he knows we allowed him to drink. Mix is very protective of him"
Prem said as he sits down

"Well we all just need to keep our mouths shut"
Max tells them after handing Nat a bottle of cold water which he gladly accepted

"Hia"
Nunew whined.

"Yeah? Do you want to puke again?"
Zee asked as he gets ready to stand up.

"No. But I want to go home now"
Nunew says to him.

"I want to go home too. Save my liver from even more alcohol"
Yim whined

"It might be too late for that now Yim"
Prem laughs

"Dont say that phi! Im still young!"
Yim exclaimed while Tutor pulls him back down.

"Stop moving too much or you will vomit again!"
Tutor reprimandrd him.

"Hia. I want go home"
Nunew said again as he slowly stands up.

Tutor sighed. He looked at the two friends, contemplating how is he going to haul the two of them home.

Zee, as if he sensed Tutor's dilemma, offered to help.

"I'll take Nunew back to his unit. You can bring Yim home"
Zee suggested

"No! No one is bringing Nunew home aside from me! I promised to keep him safe"
Yim stomped and stumbled standing up

"Sit the down Yim!"
Tutor shakes his head

"Yim, its fine. He's my Hia"
Nunew sofyly said

"His Hia"
Faye teasingly repeated and Zee shot her a look.

"But Nunew!"
Yim whined again

"Yim, I'll send you a photo of Nunew all tucked in bed. Will that be sufficient?"
Zee suggested as he tries to pacify Yim's worries

"You dont even know where he lives"
Yim mumbled

"He does. He's been there before. He owns the entire building"
Nunew mumbled back
