Julian's POV

"Alright"! Tadj says chirpily. "Move your butts ladies we're not wasting any time, chop chop". I groan as i feel the weight of my rucksack pulling me under. I should have listened to Gideon, he warned me not to pack so much but i decided to be the dumb fuck i am and do the complete opposite.

I shift my eyes towards Constance and find her carrying 2 suitcases filled to the brim, man i really shouldn't be complaining about the weight of my baggage. I then eye Tarini who decided to just carry a water bottle and a huge ziplock of protein bars that she made for all of us. I'm so envious of her right now, it must be so easy to carry nothing and walk without a care in the world.

 Gideon comes close to me and swings an arm around my shoulder. "What's wrong Jules? Is your bag too heavy for you to carry"? I wanted to punch that smug bastard in the face but i ended up just glaring at him and saying "At least if someone gets bitten by a cobra or something, there is someone prepared for the worst". "No one can be more prepared than Constance at this moment" he nods at her direction. "Constance"! he yells, "Are you going to another country or something"?

Constance just narrows her eyes at him and yells back "Shut up Gideon, it's not like i'm Tarini and just brought a bottle of water or something". "Hey! You don't get to insult my bottle like that" Tarini says to Constance. They both then continue arguing like monkeys fighting over a banana.

Gideon turns back to me and says something about how me and Constance would get along so well but at that moment i wasn't listening to a word he was saying because i could see Tarini pouring the only bottle of water she has all over Constance's hair and clothes. We all burst out laughing as we watch them stare daggers at each other.

 "This is why some people come prepared, Gideon". I say as walk up to Constance and hand her a towel while i throw a plastic bottle filled with water at Tarini. We all then continue walking up the trail with many arguments and lots of laughter till it gets dark and we all set up our tents on a flat area that we find.

Tadj and Tarini share a tent and Tadj insists that me and Gideon need to share a tent as Constance "needs a lot of room for her clothes". So me and Gideon get into our tent and i pull out the blankets as he rambles on about how much Tarini and Constance fight.

I go out so i can steal some protein bars from Tarini's ziplock but i find Gideon following me and i glare at him "What are you doing here"?! Gideon replies saying "Your trying to steal protein bars aren't you"? I'm pretty sure that was meant to be a rhetorical question so i ignore him and walk towards the tent.

I find Tarini crossing her hands in front of me and Gideon "What are you guys up to"? she asks as she smirks knowingly. "I was going to give everyone the bars but since you guys were trying to steal them i guess i'll be having everything" she laughs like the evil little piece of shit she is. We all know how Tarini's food is and as much as i hate protein bars more than anything in the world, Tarini makes the most disgusting things taste like heaven. 

"It wasn't my fault, I saw Julian coming here and i just followed along, i dint know he was going to steal anything"! he looks disapprovingly at me and i gasp "Liar"! 

The rest of the evening goes by and we all gather a bunch of lanterns in the middle of us as we sit in a circle around it as if the lanterns give an effect of an actual campout (We were to lazy to gather wood and do all that normal camp shit). "Let's tell each other horror stories" Tadj says as he puts a flashlight under his chin to make his face light up and to look creepy.

I sniff at the air as i turn towards Gideon. "Is that bug spray"? I ask, pinching the bridge of my nose with two fingers. "Yeah, me and Constance kind of had a bug spray fight and now we both smell like two dying frogs". Constance glares at him "Hey! You're the one that initiated it". I laugh as i regret leaving my fingers from my nose. Yikes they smell like absolute shit.

"Silence"! Tadj says. We all stare wide-eyed at him. "I shall be the one to tell the ghost story since you guys are not serious enough". "Once upon a time... there were 5 people who decided to go on a hiking trip. They were walking as they saw a group of people with expressionless faces and their heads turned down coming their way. They then heard a scream a little further from where they were and at that moment one person from their group looked up at the 5 people and twisted their head to the side".

I heard a scream ringing in my ears as i turned to check who it could be. We all started panicking and screaming at each other and turned on all of our flashlights. Tadj just started laughing at all of us "Omg you guys should have seen the look on your faces, it's was hilarious" he turned his recorder to us replaying the sound of screaming coming from that stupid device. "Yeah laugh all you wan't now Tadj, you won't be laughing when i punch your dumb face" Tarini glowers at him.

After all that drama, me and Gideon take our sleeping bags and put it outside close to our tent and get under the covers. "Do you ever feel like time moves to fast sometimes"? Gideon asks me looking at the stars. "Yeah...I definitely feel that".
