PHOEBE'S POV.

"Phoebe, are you sure you can handle this?"

Harold asked with worry written all over his face.

"Don't worry about me."

This whole thing was starting to get on my nerves. Why was everybody behaving as if heavens just came down on earth? I had leaved three good years Without the thought of Percy crossing my mind.

*Sure about that girl?*

Okay maybe sometimes I  wondered if he was happy... with that girl and if he ever thought of me but that was it. Nothing but curiousity.

I believed I had completely gotten over him and his sudden presence here wouldn't change anything. Harold has been the one to show me true love. I was  stuck with him.

Why then did it feel weird to have him around these day? Why was I feeling like his presence was choking me and that I needed some space?

" its getting late." I broke the silence.

" I guess I'll have to leave now.
Phoebe, call me when the need arrives. Take care."

He placed a kiss on my forehead before walking out of the room and I internally flinch. I coiled up in bed and squeezed my eyes tight, hoping that sleep comes soon to take me away from the collection of memories................

~~~
Our first encounter wasn't a very pleasant one. He hit me with a ball and refused to apologize properly.
Believe me when I say I'm not always an angry person. I am naturally a cool headed person and usually the apologies of a bunch of boys would've been enough but on that particular day I had had enough of people taking advantage of my niceness.
Kait and I took the shortcut to campus. The same path where I was hit by a ball the other time.
" That's your guy,the one who kicked the ball at you the other time."
Kait gestured before us.
"Which of them was it? I don't even recall his ugly face."
I lied. That face could never leave my mind. I think I even dreamt of it.
"That one and he doesn't have an ugly face girl..... He seems to be coming this way.."
Oh no...What does he want? I asked myself. He stopped before us wearing a smile like he just saw father Christmas drive by.
"Heii look who we have here, it's the girl with a full mouth."
He called out to his friends. I frowned, instantly feeling offended. What did he mean by a full mouth?
"Today I'm not kicking a ball."
He said nonchalantly.
" So? You want to kick me then? "
I asked in an angry tone,trying to sound annoyed. Truth was, that smile was making it pretty hard focusing on my own emotions. That annoying smirk took over his face .
" That sounds like a good plan. I won't mind at all..."
His tongue swiped across his lips lustfully. Jesus! Was this boy ever not thinking about sex?
"Eww!"
I wanted to say more but that's all I could manage to say.
"The name is Percy."
He stretched out his hands, grinning from ear to ear.
"I don't remember asking for your name."
I said, ignoring the pounding of my heart.
