Seth had just gotten to the cafe when his boss Phil walked out of the shop with the police by his side. Police cars and warning tape was everywhere around the cafe. Phil saw Seth and walked up to him, "what happened?" Seth was slightly worried looking around at the few hero's and the mass amount of people, either news reporters or just pedestrians. A hero Seth couldn't quite recognise came and took Phil to talk to more police.
"A hero student was found dead here this morning in the alley way, we are still waiting to hear more from police and witnesses, back to you Ron" a nearby reporter said.
Seth felt sick 'how could someone do that' he walked towards the cafe only to be stopped by another hero. "Stay behind the tape kid" the hero said, placing his hands on the bright yellow tape surrounding the area.
"What happened?" Seth was curious now.
The hero shook his head looking distant and disappointed "I can't say, please just back away kid" the raven haired hero said, sounding more demanding now, Seth left it alone and backed away. The roads and nearby buildings were blocked off with police cars and hero's, some of the police that weren't around the crime scene were directing people and cars away.
Phil had now walked back out of the crowd.
"It's horrible that some people can do this, I wish the hero's would do more to stop these villains." Phil said when he got to Seth, his arms crossed against his chest, his head turned back to the police, Seth hummed as if agreeing with the older man. Phil was shorter than Seth with short blonde hair and well trimmed beard. Seth looked at the paramedics moving a stretcher with a long black bag on it. Their gloves were covered in blood, was the body that fresh?.
"Who found.. it?" Seth asked, his voice cracking ever so slightly enough for Phil to put his hand on Seth boy's shoulder, now turned to face him.
"It doesn't matter, it'll be okay Seth" fore eyes nodded to the reassurance, Phil gave him a soft smile before wandering back off to the police.
He couldn't even bear the thought of it, the sickening smell, the view of white bodysuits and the cover silhouetting a small human. Laid out on the stretcher. He hated death.
He felt sick, very sick.
He walked off towards the other end of the café where no police or people were around. Once he turned the corner now behind a building across from the crime scene, he threw up, falling to his knees, the burning sensation caught in his throat made him wince, the smell of vomit and blood felt in his nostrils. His sweaty hair was moved out the way sticking to the sides of his face. not knowing who did it but he was grateful that he wouldn't have to wash out his hair.
"Rough night?" A voice said nonchalantly behind Seth, he chuckled at the remark. Seth turned to the side where a shortie was now squatting right next to him, Seth stubbled away from the stranger once seeing him "W-Who aRe you" his voice cracked.
"It's me!" The other took off the mask and glasses he was wearing, "from the café" the stranger tilted his head to the side looking at any sign that Seth remembered him, until it clicked the cute stranger Seth met yesterday 'also borderline kidnapped him' "Aug... nesttt?" Seth said, sounding definitely like a question.
"close enough man, Now, are you alright?" 'Augnest' said a hint of concern glazed over his eyes.
The rushing feeling of nausea finally came back to Seth's attention, he turned his head to the side his hand covering his mouth, acting like that'll stop the flow of bile threatening to come up his throat, August came closer to Seth, steading him with his hand on Seth's shoulder, "it's alright, take it slow" he began to rub comforting circles on Seths back, hoping it'll calm the nausea.
