That night, Elara lay awake in her bed, the moonlight spilling through her window like silver

tendrils, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Her mind raced with thoughts of Damien and

Lucy's confrontation, the words echoing through her head like a haunting melody.

The sea roared outside, waves crashing violently against the cliffs, mirroring the storm

brewing inside her. She wanted to believe in Damien, to trust the connection they shared,

but the darkness that surrounded him felt like a heavy cloak pressing down on her spirit.

Elara drifted into a fitful sleep, only to be awakened by a dream that pulled her deeper into

her own memories. She stood on the shore, the water swirling around her ankles, the nightsky thick with clouds. A shadowy figure emerged from the depths, beckoning her closer, its

outline familiar yet terrifying.

"No!" she screamed, her voice lost to the howling wind. As she turned to run, she felt the

weight of chains binding her, dragging her back into the water. The waves crashed over her,

cold and unforgiving, drowning out her cries.

Elara jolted awake, her heart racing, drenched in sweat. She could still hear the echo of the

figure's voice calling to her, a whisper that felt both seductive and sinister.

"Find me... remember..."

Panic surged through her, and she leapt from her bed, the remnants of the dream clinging to

her like mist. She had to know the truth about her father, the society he was involved with,

and what it meant for her future.
