forming on her lips. "And I'm here to finish what Lady Seraphine started."

"Get away from her!" Damien shouted, stepping in front of Elara protectively.

The woman laughed softly, a sound devoid of warmth. "You're brave, but bravery alone won't

save you. You're just pawns in a game far beyond your understanding."

"Not anymore," Elara replied, summoning her courage. "We won't be controlled by the past.

We've broken the curse, and we will fight for our future."

The woman's expression shifted, a flicker of surprise crossing her face. "You think you can

stand against the darkness? You have no idea what you're up against."

"We'll find out," Damien said, his voice steady. "Together."
