Days passed since that fateful evening, and Elara found herself drawn to Damien’s mansion
more than ever. Each visit peeled back the layers of her heart, allowing her to confide in him
about the shadows of her past. In the flickering candlelight of his studio, she shared the
burdens she had carried for so long—the mystery of her father’s disappearance, the
madness of her mother, and the suffocating belief in the curse that had haunted her family.
“I’ve always felt trapped,” she confessed one night, her voice trembling as she sat across
from Damien, surrounded by his unsettling artwork. “It’s like the past won’t let me go.”
Damien listened intently, his gaze fixed on her with an intensity that made her pulse quicken.
“You’re not alone in this, Elara. I understand more than you know,” he replied, his tone dark
and enigmatic. “We all carry our own shadows.”
As their relationship deepened, so did the passion between them. What started as gentle
