A Love That Never Spoke

In the spaces between our words,
Where silence stretched and lingered,
A glance would catch, a hand would pause,
Yet never did the truth grow bigger.

In half-lit rooms and quiet walks,
Our eyes would meet, then swiftly flee,
A language there, in what we missed,
A love that pirouetted invisibly.

No need for sound, no need for names,
It lived in moments small and frail—
In every breath, in every chance,
A love that never dared to fail.

Perhaps it's stronger, left unsaid,
The weight of words might break the spell—
But still, we hold it, side by side,
A love that never spoke, but fell.

Note from the Poet: Sometimes the loudest love is the one that never gets voiced.
