I looked at you, our gazes locked tight,
And in that second, I felt the fight,
Not from fear, but from inferno inside,
The kind that dares, the kind with pride. My heart raced, but I didn't bend,
In that moment, I chose to ascend.
Not a breath held, not a step back,
I leaned in, ready to attack. You looked at me, thought you had control—
But guess what? I'm taking your soul.~ ~ ~
Note from the Poet: Turning a fleeting moment into a power move, huh.
