To Ava

Weep if your heart demands,
but don't you dare stop there.
Let those tears carve trenches,
Let them sharpen edges—
until your pain becomes a blade.

You're not alone in your room;
you're not hiding;
you're building.
Brick by brick, tear by tear—
a fortress from your own damn bones.

Don't wait for the wind to dry your eyes;
be the storm.
Don't wait for the stars to give you a stage;
take the sky.
Forget claiming the moon's crown;
forge your own from the pyre of everything
that tried to break you.

Because you, Ava,
weren't made to beg for light and halo;
you were made to blaze through the pitch-black.
Are you the one the townsfolk deem the most beautiful of them all?
Not in this realm.
The fiercest.
The one who leaves kingdoms trembling.
