LOVE

"Love, take your meds. Oh, and don't forget to take your prenatal vitamins. Oh, and y-"

"Billie, I'm taking everything right now." I roll my eyes. "You're such a mom."

"I just want you healthy." Billie shrugs. "Did you drink your greens yet?"

"No, they're fucking gross." I groan. "But they'll help with the morning sickness!" She frowns. "Too bad, they taste disgusting." I reply.

"Love, you need to take care of yourself!" Billie sighs. "I do take care of myself." I tell her.

Once I'm done taking my medicine, I walk over to her and cup her face in my hands. "I'm okay, alright? Tell me you understand."

"I understand." Billie nods.

"Good." I smile softly and kiss her head.

Kissing your friend's face is normal, okay?

She grabs my waist and pulls me back from behind. "Wait. I haven't given baby a kiss yet."

I roll my eyes and turn around. Billie bends down and kisses my tiny bump. "There we go." She grins up at me.

"You're cute." I chuckle and grab a mug for coffee. "Hey, no coffee while you're pregnant." Billie says. "Billie," I whine. "I just want a little! My doctor says I can have 200 milligrams of caffeine every day."

"But it's not good for the baby!"

"You need to stop with all your research and stuff. Google ain't shit." I roll my eyes. "Fine, drink your damn coffee." She huffs. "And make me some please?" She bats her eyelashes.

"No. The last thing your hyper ass needs is coffee." I tell her. "Ugh, you're mean." Billie frowns. "And you're a little baby." I say, cupping her chin in my hand. "Are you my little baby?" I tease her to make her laugh, but she just rolls her eyes.

"No." She crosses her arms. "I'm a grown woman, thank you very much!"

"Go sit on the couch." I order.

"Yes, ma'am."

Billie happily walks to the living room and sits down on the couch.

She listens to absolutely anything I say.

When my coffee's done, I walk over and sit down with her. I take a sip before placing my cup down and laying my head in Billie's lap.

She rubs my bump and plays with my hair, taking turns between each action.

"Will you take me to my appointment today?" I ask. "Of course I will. You know I never let you go alone." Billie answers. "Thanks, B." I smile up at her. "I'm gonna get ready after I finish drinking this."

"Okay."

I finished my coffee and got ready. I threw on some sweats and a crew neck and now, we're getting our shoes on.

Well.. more like Billie is.

She won't let me do it myself.
