After getting to know more about what happen to Nie Mingjue and himself, the two head to Yueyang. "How your curse mark?" Lan Zhan asked.

"Is getting a little bit better." Wei Ying.

"What do you mean by "little"? Lan Zhan.

"Little just little, if you don't believe me why don't I show you?" When Wei Ying is about to pull up his leg pants he stop, "wait a minute, you somehow have change. Sometime you will said something like "shameless" or "get away" or something along the line like that."

Lan Zhan look away, Wei Ying put his hand on Lan Zhan chin to bring Lan Zhan back to look him, "You change haven't you?"

Wei Ying see tear running down Lan Zhan face, "Something happen when I was gone for 16 years? What did you do?"

"I went to look for you at the bottom of NeverNight. I went to search for Chenqing, I drink wine that you like so much. But most of all...." Lan Zhan pull his cloth on his left side down to reveal a Wen band near where his heart is at.

Wei Ying put both of his hand on each side of Lan Zhan cheek, "Lan Wangj! What gotten into you?! Why would you go and do something like this!?"

Lan Zhan got angry at what Wei Ying just said to him, "I can't live in this world without you Wei Wuxian!!! You turn my life up side down ever since we first met!!! You make me falling in love with your smile, your mischievous and your personality!!!"

Wei Ying pull Lan Zhan into his arm while he is still crying, "I love you Wei Ying. I lost myself without you 16 years ago. I can't handle it anymore, I want thing that belong to you but I can't find anything. All I have left is A- Yuan."

"A-Yuan, that's right I left him behind in the burial mound. Tell me A-Yuan is alive?" The two pull back, Wei Ying use his thumb to wipe away the tears on Lan Zhan cheek.

"He is alive." Lan Zhan then realized what he just said when he burst out his feeling for Wei Ying in the middle of the street.

"Lan Zhan?"

"I just....did I just...just burst out my feeling for you in the middle of the street?" Wei Ying held back his chuckle, "come on let's go find an inn to stay in," Wei Ying take Lan Zhan hand as he pull him toward a familiar inn.

While the two of them are eating, they listen to what the people on the other side is saying, "that little brat is on the loose? Lan Zhan what happen?"

Lan Zhan told Wei Ying about Xue Yang and Chang Pin and about how both Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen disappear without a trace. "That much has happened?" Lan Zhan nodded his head.

"Wei Ying?"

"Mhm?"

The two of them are now in the room together as they look out into the night sky, "what I said earlier, it is all true."

"I know. But one thing I want to know Lan er gongzi?" Wei Ying lean against the window, "what is it?"

"You said that you want to take me back to Gusu? Tell me, why?"

"I...I want to protect you...i want to hide you away from the world....i don't want anything to happen to y-" once again Wei Ying kissed Lan Zhan when he is about to said something.

Wei Ying pull Lan Zhan into his lap as Lan Zhan wrapped his arm around Wei Ying neck. When air become a problem the two pull away, "I need to go call Wen Ning, do you want to come?" Wei Ying see a pout on Lan Zhan face.

"If you don't want to come, I will let you stay here by your-" this time it is Lan Zhan turn to cut Wei Ying off with his kiss. Lan Zhan pull back, "okay, I will go with you."

The two end up in forest, Wei Ying take out his flute, and he begin to play their song. He watch as Lan Zhan pouted at this, Wei Ying just smirk at how jealous Lan Zhan is since he is using their song to call for Wen Ning.

Wei Ying stop playing, they waited and waited and waited and waited and then they see Wen Ning walking toward them. "Wen Ning!" Wei Ying run over to where Wen Ning is at. "Wen Ning, hey what's wrong?" Which way Wei Ying move Wen Ning follow.

"Stand still," Wen Ning did just that, "Wei Ying," Lan Zhan walk over to where Wei Ying is at. "Someone is trying to take control of him."

"But how?" Asked Lan Zhan. "The only way to take control of Wen Ning is," Wei Ying put his hand around Wen Ning head. He found what he is looking for he pull it out of Wen Ning head as he scream in pain.

A minute later Wen Ning come back to his sense, "Gongzi."

"Wen Ning, do you know who put this inside of your head?" Wen Ning shake his head no. "Then do you remember what happen?" Wen Ning nodded his head, he tell Wei Ying about how his family went to Jinlintai for punishment, then he went out of control and after that he doesn't remember anything else.

Then Wen Ning kneel down in front of Wei Ying, "Wen Ning, what are you doing?"

"Gongzi, I'm sorry."

"Stand up and talk." Wen Ning shake his head no, "then," Wei Ying also kneel down in front of Wen Ning. "Gongzi!" Wen Ning help Wei Ying to stand up, "now isn't that better."

"But gongzi? Is my fault that you and Jie?"

"Is not your fault Wen Ning, you were listen to my order. Wen Qing was right, you are a blade a precious one. Who isn't interested in such a treasure? Back then the Jin clan said that they have burn you and your sister to ashes. Now, you, the ghost general are still alive anyway." 'They even put chain around him,' "let's cut these chain off of you," Wei Ying turn to look at Lan Zhan, "Hanguang Jun, do you mind cutting the chain off of Wen Ning?"

"Mn," Lan Zhan take out Bichen and cut off the chain around Wen Ning body. "Thank you Lan er gongzi," Lan Zhan can only nodded his head. "Wen Ning, since you just come back to your sense, go get a good rest okay?"

"Gongzi, there something I do remember? Something happen at the Qiongqi path?" Wei Ying have a flash back at what happen to Jin Zixuan, "What happen?"

"I heard a second flute sound beside your, this one tell me differently then your gongzi."

"We will figure this out, go get some rest Wen Ning," with that Wen Ning disappear from there. "Wei Yin-" Wei Ying pull Lan Zhan into his arm, "just for a while Lan Zhan."

"Okay," the two stand there wrapping in each other arm, 'Whoever cause this problem they will feel my wrath. I won't let this go that easily.'
