Chapter 30

When Wei Ying, Wen Ning, Sizhui, Zizhen and Jingyi walk to the dock, they see Lan Zhan is standing there by himself. "Hanguang Jun is still here? He is by himself," Lan Zhan turn to his right to see Wei Ying and the other is walking toward him.

"Wei-" Wei Ying walk pass Lan Zhan without saying anything to him, the other follow right behind him. "Wen Ning, let's head to Yunping town," Wen Ning gave a nod, onc everyone is in the boat Wen Ning take them to Yunping town.

Sizhui, Jingyi and Zizhen can feel a tension between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan, "Sizhui," Jingyi nudged at Sizhui, "Let's go see Wen Qianbei," with that the three of them left from there, leaving just Wei Ying and Lan Zhan inside of the boat.

Wei Ying has his back to Lan Zhan who seat on the other side of the boat, 'What can I said to Wei Ying at a time like this? He is indeed not the same Wei Ying that I know,' "I'm sorry."

Lan Zhan look back, his eye went wide to see Wei Ying is standing in front of him, "sorry is not enough for me to forgive you, Lan Zhan. Try something else."

"Some...some...something else? Like what?" Lan Zhan asked.

"Think about it," after saying that Wei Ying went back to where he was sitting. 'Using my own word against me. What is it that you want?' Lan Zhan look at how Wei Ying is looking out into the lake, 'what are you thinking Wei Ying?'

Yunping town

"Gongzi, we're here," they all got off the boat. "Wei Qianbei, why are we here?" Asked Jingyi. "I saw a deed inside of Jin Guangyao secret chamber. Since the Jin clan of LanLing is so rich, he can use that money to build anything he wants. I think there is something there in Yunping town that belong to Jin Guangyao."

"Something there? Like what?" Asked Zizhen.

"I'm not sure Zizhen. Why don't we go look around first?" When they got on land, the group look here and there around the place, "Guniang, is this place call "Yunping town"?" Asked Sizhui. She told the group that they are in Yunping town, "Thank you."

While they are walking around the place, Zizhen, Jingyi and Sizhui, see Wen Ning getting pick on by other people. "Hey! Leave him alone!" Zizhen, Jingyi and Sizhui come flying toward the group and kick them away from Wen Ning.

"Do you want us to beat you all up some more?!" Shouted Jingyi. The group shake their head no, "then get lost!" They ran away from there. "Wen Qianbei are you alright?" Wen Ning smile at what they junior just did for him.

"We will stay with you, wouldn't want anyone to bother you again," Wei Yang smile at this, 'It look like they are warming up to Wen Ning,' "Stay close everyone," the group caught up to Wei Ying and Lan Zhan.

They soon come to a temple in the middle of town, "Why would a temple be here? Shouldn't it be like somewhere in the mountains or something?" Asked Jingyi.

Wei Ying turn around to look at them, "Wen Ning, take Sizhui, Jingyi and Zizhen to one of the inn. Hanguang Jun and I will go in to see if we can sense anything around the place."

"Okay, boys lets go," with that they split up, Wen Ning went with the boys to find an inn while Wei Ying and Lan Zhan went into the temple in front of them.  "Jingyi is right, why would a temple be here in the middle of town instead of on the mountain?" Wei Ying look around the place.

The two went inside of the temple, Wei Ying gave a polite bow while Lan Zhan look around the place, "what do you think, Hanguang Jun?" Lan Zhan turn to look at Wei Ying, "there is a magic circle is suppressing something here."

"I knew that Jin Guangyao couldn't put the address in his chamber for nothing. Can this magic circle be cracked?" Lan Zhan shake his head no, "it is not that easy to crack it. We need to wait until night when there is no one around."

"Okay, then let's head back to where Wen Ning and the boys is at," the two left from there to go find Wen Ning and the Junior.

That night before Wei Ying and Lan Zhan left the inn, Wei Ying said to Wen Ning and the Junior, "Wen Ning, you and the boys stay here. If Hanguang Jun and I haven't come back yet, you go back to Yunmeng town to tell everyone what's happen here okay?" Wen Ning nodded his head.

"Sizhui, Jingyi, Zizhen, listen to what Wen Ning said? Stay out of trouble," the three boys nodded their head.

That night Wei Ying and Lan Zhan return back to the temple. When Wei Ying is about to walk toward the door Lan Zhan stop him. He send a small amount of spiritual energy toward the door, he turn around to look at Wei Ying, "there is a ward."

"Then let's get in through the courtyard," Lan Zhan gave a nod, the two of them went to the back of the temple. They climb up onto the roof, there they see monk carrying sword and bow and arrow in their hand, "Jin clan disciple."

The two soon see Lan Xichen walking into view, 'Xiong Zhang!' Wei Ying glanced to his right side at Lan Zhan who is watching his brother. Soon they hear the sound of dog barking and Jin Ling voice calling out to his dog.

'Why is Jin Ling here? Why didn't Jiang Cheng keep him home?' They all keep listen to see what Jin Ling will do next. He knock on the door, asking if anyone is in there or not, and then Fairy run off again.

'Naughty kid, leave quickly with the dog, please,' Wei Ying begged inside of his mind.  Instead of leaving with the dog, Jin Ling end up climbing up to see what is going on inside of the temple.

He see many arrow is pointing at him, then one of the Jin disciple let go of his arrow. Wei Ying stand up and threw his flute to stop the arrow from hitting Jin Ling, "Jin Ling run away!" Jin Ling jump down and left from there.

The Jin disciple turn their arrow toward Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. The two jump off of the roof, while doing so Wei Ying threw talisman on the ground to blinded the Jin clan disciple arrow from hitting him and Lan Zhan.

When Wei Ying is about to fight back the Jin clan, out the corner of his eye he see a golden string coming around the corner, around his neck and into that person hand right behind Wei Ying.

They use Wei Ying as a shield before Lan Zhan can touch them. Jin Guangyao advised Wei Ying not to whistle, he doesn't care if Wei Ying flute is broken or not. He went on saying that if a finger or a tongue is lost, that will be very tragic.

"You have a good point," Wei Ying said in a mocking way, "Please," was Jin Guangyao answer. He tighten the string around Wei Ying neck as he walk backward, Lan Zhan follow what Jin Guangyao is doing.

When they stop Jin Guangyao tell Lan Zhan not to make any attempt, he tighten the string around Wei Ying even more and this cause Wei Ying neck to bleed, 'Wei Ying!'
