Chapter 21

After his talk with Jin Ling, Wei Ying head back to the room that he is sharing with Lan Zhan. "Wei Ying are you sure you want to do this?" Wei Ying take out his yellow paper man, he put his spiritual energy into the paper man, and put it down on the table.

He take Lan Zhan hand and pull him to sit on his lap, he bring Lan Zhan head down for a kiss. The two pull away, "don't worry I will be fine," he wrapped his arm around Lan Zhan waist and fell asleep.

Lan Zhan look down to see the paper man starting to move. It flew up to Lan Zhan, it gave Lan Zhan a kiss this got him to pull the paper man back, "Wei Ying, stop messing around."

The paper man wrapped himself around Lan Zhan finger, "Be careful once you head over there," the paper man gave a nod and soon it left from there.

Wei Ying arrived at the place call Fragrance hall, this place belong to Jin Guangyao and his wife Qin Su. The paper man fly here and there through out the room, it is like he is searching for something.

That is when Wei Ying see a letter on the table with a paperweight on top of it. "How come there is a letter here? It look like someone already open it?" No matter how hard Wei Ying try to move the paperweight he couldn't.

The door to the room open up, Wei Ying can see who it is, "Qin su, what is wrong with her? She was fine this morning," then Jin Guangyao walk into the room. Wei Ying listen to the conversation between Qin Su and Jin Guangyao.

Wei Ying is confuse and curious at what is going on between Jin Guangyao and Qin Su that cause her to vomit like that, 'What is in the letter? Who wrote it to Qin Su?' The argument between Jin Guangyao and Qin Su is quite a shock to WeiYing since he didn't know that Jin Guangyao have a son, a son that he got someone to kill him.

Then he see Jin Guangyao make Qin Su fainted, 'what did he do to her? If he doesn't have any spiritual energy then he can't make her faint like that . It seem like he has fooled Zewu Jun.'

He watch as Jin Guangyao take Qin Sun toward a bronze mirror, 'I should follow them, there must be something back there. I will find some clue about Chifeng Zun head. This way I can go back to let Lan Zhan know about it.'

He follow behind Jin Guangyao and his wife as they walk into the bronze mirror. 'What is this place?' Wei Ying went into hiding since he doesn't want Jin Guangyao to know that there is someone or something in here.

Jin Guangyao then heard the sound of paper rustling, he look around the place and see nothing. While Wei Ying fly around the place he see a very strong seal. "I wonder what's Jin Guangyao is hiding behind here?" He went to check what is behind the seal.

When Wei Ying went behind the seal he see something that shock him, "This is- you have my respect Chifeng Zun," Wei Ying gave a bow to Nie Mingjue head that is right in first of him.

"Just as we thought, Jin Guangyao do have Nie Mingjue last body part with him." Wei Ying can feel a strong resentment energy coming from Nie Mingjue head, it pull him into doing an empathy.

Back at the room where Wei Ying is sharing with Lan Zhan, he look down at the uncomfortable expression on Wei Ying face. "Wei Ying!"

Wei Ying see thing from the past life of his as well as seeing what happen to Nie Mingjue. He even see how Lan Xichen play his clan cleansing song to Nie Mingjue, then he teach it to Jin Guangyao as well. But then he see Jin Guangyao playing for Nie Mingjue, that is when he see how Jin Guangyao is looking at Nie Mingjue.

"He is not trying to save him...he is trying to kill him."

Back at the room

"Wei Ying! Wei Ying! Wake up!" Then a paper come in and kissed Lan Zhan on the lips. Wei Ying soul went back into his body.

When Wei Ying got up, he smacked his face with Lan Zhan. This cause Lan Zhan to back away. "Ow! I'm sorry Lan Zhan!" Then he got off of Lan Zhan while saying, "Let' go!"

"Go where?" Asked Lan Zhan and he too stand up as well. "To Jin Guangyao room : the fragrant Palace!" The two dash out of there, they were stopped by the Jin disciple. "We must head there fast or he will make a move first!"

When the two of them got there they see Jin Ling and Lan Xichen is standing there. "Wangji?" Lan Zhan face his brother a nod. Wei Ying went up to Jin Guangyao room to knock on his door with a loud voice.

Then Jin Guangyao come out, he ask if the reception was that bad and that they all came to his room for an evening banquet. Wei Ying said that they want to see his secret room. Jin Guangyao doesn't want to show it to anyone until Lan Xichen ask him to let them see his secret room.

Then a sect call "Moling Su Sect" walk up and begin to said bad thing about the Lan clan. When everyone is in the secret room Wei Ying went over to where he saw the head of Nie Mingjue was at. But when he open it, Chifeng Zun head was gone.

In the place of Nie Mingjue head is a dagger that belong to Wen Ruohan. It has resentment energy on it. Qin Su then turn to take the dagger from Jin Guangyao hand and stabbed herself with it.

Jin Guangyao turn to blame everything on Wei Ying since he believes that "Mo Xuanyu" is blaming him for kicking him out of the Jin clan for harassing him. Now he is back to take his revenge on Jin Guangyao for what he have done to "Mo Xuanyu."

Jin Guangyao take out his sword to attack Wei Ying only to have Lan Zhan pushing him out of the way. Wei Ying then see his sword Suibian flying toward him. He pull it out, that is when everyone know who he is.

Lan Zhan know that he can't let this happen again, "Let's go!" He take Wei Ying hand and take him away from there. On their way out, they got stop by Jin Ling who asked Wei Ying if he is Wei Wuxian.

Wei Ying only walk pass Jin Ling, but then Wei Ying got stabbed by his sister son, Jin Ling. "Wei Ying!"

'Out of all people, he take it after his uncle- even when it come to stabbing me, the two of them both went to the same spot,' Lan Zhan pushed Jin Ling away and he carried Wei Ying on his back.

"Lan Zhan....." Wei Ying said in a weak voice. "I'm right here Wei Ying."

'Lan Zhan, who would have thought that back then when everyone is either admire me or afraid of me, Lan Zhan is the only one who scolded at me. And when everyone turned against me and hated me, he is the only one who still stood by my side.'
