Chapter 22

When Wei Ying woke up the next day, he looked around the room, 'great, I am back in cloud recesses,' then he look to his left side, he see Lan Zhan is sleeping with his head next to his arm.

He want to move so that he can touch Lan Zhan but only to hiss in pain. This cause Lan Zhan to wake up, "Wei Ying!" Wei Ying smile and shakes his head. "How is your injury?" Lan Zhan help Wei Ying to sit up.

"My injury, it doesn't hurt anymore." Wei Ying then see Lan Zhan take his hand and pull up the white long sleeves. He stop Lan Zhan hand, "Don't," he take his hand away from Lan Zhan hand.

"Wei Ying, I already seen it when I change your clothes. Why is there a curse mark on your arm?" Wei Ying grabbed Lan Zhan hand and pull him into the bed. He got on top of him, "Stay out of it, Hanguang Jun. This is something you shouldn't worry about it."

Wei Ying look at Lan Zhan in the eye, he see Lan Zhan is giving him a cold glare, "stay out of it?! Why won't you tell me anything, Wei Wuxian?!" Shouted back Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan then see Wei Ying eye went from silver to crimson red, "there are thing that I don't want to tell you, Lan Wangji. When I said stay out of it, then stay out of it." The two can feel something is about to happen, Wei Ying went down to attack Lan Zhan neck.

"Wei Ying!" Wei Ying lock Lan Zhan hand above his head, "Wei...nngh...Ying.....don't." 'Xiong Zhang will come in here soon,' "Xiong....Ah...Zhang....will...please....stop." Wei Ying pull back to look at Lan Zhan who is blushing red right now.

"I won't let this go Lan Zhan," he got off of Lan Zhan and went to grab his clothes. Lan Zhan seat up to look at Wei Ying, "Wei Ying, where are you going?"

"I want to be alone for a while. I will come back to talk to your brother when I am done," with that saying he left from there. The one place Wei Ying go to is the place where all of the rabbit is at. 'I don't mean to push Lan Zhan away or not telling him thing. Is just that...I am not the same Wei Wuxian he use to know.'

Since he has been staying there for a while he decide to head back to Lan Zhan room. Lan Zhan look up to see Wei Ying walking into the room, "Wei gongzi," Wei Ying turn around to see Lan Xichen is standing behind him.

"Oh Zewu Jun, just in time. There one music that I want you to hear, this is what I hear inside of Nie Mingjue mind during empathy." Lan Xichen nodded his head. Wei Ying take out his flute and begin to play what he heard inside of Nie Mingjue head.

"Zewu Jun, did you teach Jin Guangyao this?" Wei Ying asked after he finished playing what he heard inside of Nie Mingjue head.

"Yes I did but Wei gongzi, you play one wrong note?" Lan Xichen said to Wei Ying.

"I play wrong? The is is what I heard inside of Chifeng Zun head."

"Mn. You play one wrong note." Lan Zhan.

This got Wei Ying to think back to what Jin Guangyao have played for Nie Mingjue all this time when he visited him.

"I'm right. It was Jin Guangyao who is wrong, can you two listen again?" The two Lans brother gave a nod. They closed their eye, and they listen to Wei Ying playing on his flute.

When he is done, the two brothers opened their eye, "did he play it wrong? You two follow me," they all left Jingshi to head to the library. Lan Zhan didn't look at Wei Ying, he just followed his brother.

The three of them arrive at the library, Lan Xichen walk over to a bookshelf and that is when he use his spiritual energy to pull this book shelf open up. "Your Lan clan sure do have secret, Zewu Jun."

They walk down the step that take them into another library, "let me guess this part of the library is forbidden library where no one is allow to go down, am I right?" Lan Zhan can only nodded his head.

When they are done at the second library, Lan Xichen walk them over to one of the section where all of the forbidden strange music is at.

He pull out a book called "The collection of Turmoil" he gave it to his didi to go play each page by page until they find the right one.

Page one, page two, page three, on page four all three of them know that this is the song that Jin Guangyao has play for Nie Mingjue each day. Lan Zhan stop playing, he take the book and went to let Wei Ying see it.

Wei Ying look at the title of the book, "The Collection of Turmoil? What is this book about?" He asked.

Lan Xichen explained to Wei Ying that this book is a music collection of Dongying. He went on saying that this is a collection of evil music that was gathered by one of their Lan clan cultivators. He explained that during this Lan clan years of wandering in Dongyin. He has collected music that can cause harm to other people by weaken the body, irritate the mind, agitate the spirit or shut the sense.

Lan Xichen said the last important thing, "those with great spiritual power could take others lives in just three notes."

'In just three notes?' "Then that mean Jin Guangyao has been playing this cleansing music for Chifeng Zun for three whole month. He doesn't want to help Chifeng Zun to calm down or cleanse his mind. Is more like he want to kill him instead." Wei Ying turn around to look at the Lan brothers, "No, this isn't right. The one Jin Guangyao play isn't from the Lan clan cleansing music but from the missing place in this collection of turmoil. Since Jin Guangyao can't copy the entire thing in this book, all he can do is tear it apart."

This somehow doesn't make sense for Wei Ying, "This isn't right either, Jin Guangyao, he can remember everything he sees. He want to tear the page apart, not because he can't remember the music, he did this so no one can find the evidence or more like he doesn't want anyone to know where the music come from. He did this so no one know it was him who is trying to kill Chifeng Zun."

Wei Ying understand why Jin Guangyao meant to play right, "Zewu Jun, in your present he completely play the cleansing music correctly. Since Chifeng Zun doesn't know much about music, he doesn't know what the Lan clan cleansing music sound like since he never heard Zewu Jun play it before. So when Jin Guangyao play it for him, he think that this is the same as Zewu Jun playing it for him. That is why in your present he doesn't dare to play the evil music in front of you."
