Buddy and his wife are engaged in a loud fight
Lyla's Mom: You have ruined this family! Ruined it! Do you know what it felt like?
Buddy: Hey, I know.
Dakota and Lyla walks out of Lyla's bedroom grabbing Lyla's brother and sister who's at the stairs looking down at their parents fighting.
They usher them inside Lyla's room; Lyla closes the door. Dakota rubs her hand up and down Lyla's arm who turns around showing the tear in her eyes, she pulls Dakota into her arms wrapping her own arms around her and buries her head in her neck.
TYRA'S HOUSE-TWO DAYS LATER
Dakota opens the door and walks inside the house and looks around at the messy house. She takes her jacket off and begins cleaning up the house. Tyra walks up behind her and clears her throat, Dakota stands up and turns around to face her
Dakota: Hey
Tyra: Hey. Thanks for trying to clean up
Dakota: You're welcome.
Tyra: You can go home now. You don't have to help me clean up.
Dakota: Well, I think somebody's gonna have to help you here, Tyra.
Tyra: Well it's not gonna be you.
Dakota looks at her slightly hurt at the words.
Dakota: Actually right now, I think it's gonna be me.
Tyra: Why don't you quit pretending like you give a damn about what happened to me or my family considering your girlfriend's dad is the one who did this?
Dakota: I do give a damn!
Tyra: Please.
She scoffs and rolls her eyes
Tyra: I found out tonight Julia's mom doesn't even want her to hang out with me. Like I'm some kind of virus
Dakota: What the hell does that have to do with me?
Tyra: It's a little annoying when you come into my house and act all superior, start cleaning up like you're some kind........
Dakota stares at her, tears welling up in her eyes, hurt at her words.
Dakota: I'm just trying to be........
Tyra: You know what? Go back to your precious little Lyla Garrity so bad people like me can't hurt you.
Dakota: Tyra........
Tyra: Fuck it!
She suddenly cups the sides of Dakota's face pulling her closer and smashes her lips against hers. Dakota is shocked but shuts her eyes feeling Tyra slowly moving her lips against hers.
Tyra pulls away and walks away, leaving. Dakota blinks her eyes in shock as she grabs her jacket and leaves the house.
