Two days later, the castle was abuzz with excitement. The day of Prince Derek and Princess Odette's wedding had finally arrived, and the entire kingdom seemed to be celebrating. The grand ballroom had been transformed, adorned with beautiful floral arrangements and shimmering decorations. The air was filled with music, laughter, and a sense of joyous anticipation.

Amira stood in her quarters, looking at herself in the mirror. She had chosen to wear her leather pirate dress for the occasion, embracing both parts of herself—her pirate identity and her royal heritage. She had used the extra buttons Johanna had added to the dress, making sure it covered her cleavage appropriately for the formal event. Her mother's necklace rested around her neck, and her engagement ring glinted on her finger.

Johanna stood nearby, adjusting the buttons to ensure everything was in place. She smiled at Amira, her eyes filled with pride. "You look absolutely stunning, dear one," she said softly. "Your mother would be so proud of you."

Amira's eyes misted slightly at Johanna's words, and she gave her a grateful smile. "Thank you, Johanna. I hope I'm doing her memory justice."

Johanna nodded, her expression gentle. "You are, Amira. You've grown into a remarkable young woman, and you've found your true path. That's all any parent could hope for."

Amira took a deep breath, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. She turned to Johanna and hugged her tightly. "Thank you for always being here for me," she whispered.

Johanna returned the hug, her heart swelling with love for the young woman she had helped raise. "Always, my dear."

Once Amira was ready, she made her way to the ballroom, where the wedding ceremony would be held. She found Killian waiting for her at the entrance, dressed in formal attire with his hook replaced by his false hand. His eyes lit up as he saw her, and he extended his hand with a warm smile.

"You look breathtaking, love," Killian said, his voice filled with admiration.

Amira blushed slightly, taking his hand. "Thank you, Killian. You look quite dashing yourself."

He grinned, leaning in to press a soft kiss to her lips. "Shall we?" he asked, his voice filled with warmth.

Amira nodded, and together they entered the grand ballroom. The room was filled with guests, and as they made their way to their seats, Amira couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the beauty of the setting. Derek and Odette stood at the front of the room, their eyes filled with love as they exchanged vows.

The ceremony was beautiful, filled with heartfelt words and the promise of a future together. As Derek and Odette were pronounced husband and wife, the room erupted in applause, the joy of the moment radiating through the crowd.

Amira watched as Derek and Odette shared their first kiss as a married couple, her heart swelling with happiness for her old friend. She turned to Killian, her eyes filled with love, and he gave her a knowing smile, his fingers squeezing hers gently.

Once the ceremony was over, the ballroom was quickly transformed for the wedding reception. Tables were set, and the music resumed, filling the air with a lively tune. Amira and Killian found themselves at the main table, seated with Queen Uberta, Derek, and Odette.

The reception was filled with laughter, toasts, and dancing. Amira felt a sense of contentment as she watched Derek and Odette share their first dance as husband and wife. She looked at Killian, her heart filled with gratitude for the life they were building together.

As the evening progressed, Queen Uberta stood and raised her glass, her voice carrying across the room. "To Prince Derek and Princess Odette," she said, her eyes shining with pride. "May your union be filled with love, joy, and endless adventure."
