Wendigo - part 1

I just wanted to add very quickly that I'm not going to be writing the episodes Bloody Mary, Hook Man, Bugs, Route 666, Hell house and Provenance. I'm debating whether I should write Phantom Traveler or not. If any of you lovely readers have any suggestions pls say, don't be a silent reader :)

Blackwater Ridge, Lost Creek, Colorado

EXT. FOREST - NIGHT

Two tents stood near a fire ring, the chirping of crickets filling the night air. A growl echoed through the forest as footsteps approached the tents. The faint sounds of a video game could be heard from within.

INT. TENT #1

Inside one tent, two young men, Brad and Gary, were engrossed in a head-to-head handheld video game battle.

"You're cheating," Brad accused.

Gary smirked. "No, you just suck."

EXT. FOREST

Outside, something growled again, and footsteps moved towards the second tent.

"Bloody hell! What is that thing?" Ron shouts across the hall, while hiding slightly behind Hermione who rolls her eyes at him.

The hunters don't answer him but Bobby looks at him and nods his head to the screen suggesting that the memories will show it.

INT. TENT #2

In the other tent, Tom Collins recorded a video message on his cell phone.

"Hey Haley, day six, we're still out near Blackwater Ridge," he said. Behind him, something dark flickered against the tent wall, too fast to be identified. The screen on Tom's phone caught the movement.

"We're fine, keeping safe, so don't worry, okay? Talk to you tomorrow." Tom stopped recording and sent the message.

INT. TENT #1

Brad closed his game system and tossed it aside. Gary stared at his own system for a moment before turning to Brad, who was getting up and unzipping the tent.

"Hey, where ya goin'? My moment of victory," Gary called.

"Nature calls," Brad replied.

EXT. FOREST

Brad stepped outside and zipped up the tent behind him. He walked over to a tree to relieve himself. The fire crackled nearby. Suddenly, a stick snapped.

"I can't watch, but I have to know what happens!" Fred says while covering his face with his hands but everyone can see his eyes peeking in between his fingers.

George sees this as an opportunity and sneaks his hand behind Freds back and grabs his shoulder while shouting in his ear. Fred jumps up while screaming like a banshee, with his eyes shut he starts hitting the thing that attacked him (George) until he hears familiar laughter and peeks one eye open and sees it is his brother. Not only that but most of the people in the hall are dying of laughter except their mum. He lets out an animal sort of growl and jumps on George. Both the boys start rolling on the floor bumping into their sister and little brother in the process.

"Boys!" Molly shouts causing everyone in the hall to freeze, including the two gingers on the floor.

The twins gulp, knowing that they're going to be in trouble when their mum takes them somewhere private to have a 'chat'. They slowly stand up and with their heads down walk back to their seats. All of their siblings laughing at their misfortune.

Brad looked towards the sound and saw the trees rustling. He shook his head and looked down again, then snapped his head up sharply as something growled. The brush rustled. Brad's eyes followed the movement, and he screamed in horror as something attacked.
