The three Winchesters are sitting in a diner. Dean is circling obituaries in a newspaper. An attractive waitress comes over to the table and asks Dean, "Can I get you anything else?" Dean looks up and grins around the pen he's chewing on. Rose, who is eating a chicken burger, looks up at the interaction, rolls her eyes, and goes back to her burger.

"Again with the food." Sirius points out, mentioning how alike Rose and James are.

Sam comes over and sits down.

"Just the check, please," Sam says, not paying attention to the waitress. Rose smirks at this while Dean drops his head and looks at Sam.

"You know, Sam, we are allowed to have fun once in a while," Dean states while pointing at Wendy. "That's fun." Sam looks at him. Dean hands Sam the newspaper. "Here, take a look at this, I think I got one. Lake Manitoc, Wisconsin. Last week Sophie Carlton, 18, walked into the lake, but didn't walk out. Authorities dragged the water; nothing. Sophie Carlton was the third Lake Manitoc drowning this year. None of the bodies were found either. They had a funeral two days ago," Dean says. Rose looks up from her burger.

"Funeral?!" she says with a mouth full of burger. Dean and Sam both look at her, Sam with disgust and Dean with a smile.

"We so need her to help us with pranks!" Fred whispers to George. He gets an excited reaction from him nodding his head enthusiastically.

"Yeah, it's weird, they buried an empty coffin. For, uh, closure or whatever," Dean continues.

"Closure? What closure? People don't just disappear, Dean. Other people just stop looking for them," Sam says angrily. Rose puts down her burger, watching her brothers.

"Something you want to say to us?" Dean says to Sam.

"The trail for Dad. It's getting colder every day," Sam says, a bit defeated.

"Exactly. So what are we supposed to do?" Dean argues back.

"I don't know, something. Anything," Sam raises his voice a little.

"Guys, come on, there's no po-" Rose starts saying.

"You know what? I am sick of this attitude. You don't think we wanna find Dad as much as you do?" Dean argues angrily.

"What is it with you two and ignoring me? It hurts my feelings, I'll have you know," Rose exclaimed, her voice dripping with exaggerated sorrow as she clutched her chest dramatically.

Sam and Dean, her brothers, exchanged guilty glances before looking down at their feet. In unison, they mumbled, "Sorry, Rose," their voices barely above a whisper, clearly disappointed in themselves.

Rose sighed, her expression softening slightly. "Yeah, I know you are. It's just that sometimes I feel like a ghost around you two," she continued, her tone a mix of frustration and vulnerability. "I mean, we're family, right?"

Sam shuffled his feet awkwardly. "We didn't mean to make you feel that way," he said, his voice sincere.

Dean nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we'll do better, promise."

Rose's lips curled into a small smile. "Alright, I'll hold you to that," she said, her dramatic flair returning as she pointed a finger at them.

"Yeah, I know you do, it's just-"

"Me and Pumpkin have been the ones with him every single day for the past two years, while you've been off at college going to pep rallies. We will find Dad, but until then, we're gonna kill everything bad between here and there, okay?" Sam rolls his eyes at his brother's comment. Dean then gets distracted when Wendy goes past.
