Shanaya’s POV

“Niyati, mujhe sach mein nahi jaana prom pe,” Shanaya groaned as she lay sprawled across her bed. The idea of attending the prom was not something she was looking forward to. Parties and dressing up weren’t her scene, especially when her mind was so preoccupied with a certain someone who had no clue about her feelings.

"Are you mad?!" Niyati exclaimed, practically yanking Shanaya off the bed. “Mere liye nahi, toh Rahil ke liye aa jaa! Rahil bhi chahte hai ke tu aaye, aur waise bhi, itni mushkil se toh mujhe convince kiya hai. Hum saath ja rahe hain. It’ll be fun, come on yaar!”

Shanaya sighed dramatically, running a hand through her hair. “Lekin Niyati, main kaunse kapde pehnoongi? Tum jaanti ho mujhe aise glamorous kapde nahi pasand.”

Niyati smirked mischievously, “Woh tension mat le. I have the perfect dress for you. Black, sexy, aur tumhari fit mein bilkul dhamaka lagogi. Trust me!”

Shanaya rolled her eyes but gave in. “Theek hai. Lekin agar mujhe wahaan bore feel hua toh, main chali jaungi.”

Niyati grinned. “Deal. Now, let’s get you ready.”

Meanwhile, in his office at the Singhania Institute, Dhruv was far from excited about any kind of party, let alone a prom night. He was buried in work, finalizing some documents for the IT company he co-owned with Rahil. Parties were the last thing on his mind.

Dhruv’s POV

Dhruv sat at his desk, tapping away on his laptop, eyes scanning through project reports. “It’s been a long week,” he muttered, rubbing his temple. As if on cue, the door to his office burst open, and in walked Rahil with his usual exuberance.

"Kya chal raha hai, dost?" Rahil asked, plopping down on the chair across Dhruv’s desk. "Tum toh itne kaam mein dube rehte ho. Bhai, relax bhi kiya karo."

Dhruv didn’t bother looking up. “Tu toh jaanta hai Rahil, kaam kabhi khatam nahi hota. Andar aaye ho, kuch kaam hoga?”

Rahil leaned forward with a sly grin. “Haan, prom night ka kaam.”
