(MUSIC PLAYING)
SAM: I'm sorry, your what?
GABRIELLE: My mother, Samuel. Are you deaf?
"What is with you and calling people by their full names?" Tony asks.
"I dunno, Anthony," Gabrielle grins. Tony sighs in annoyance.
GABRIELLE: (SIGHS) Mum, this is James. You've heard all about him.
TULIP: I have indeed. Come here.
(Bucky is wrapped in a hug)
TULIP: (WHISPERS) Call me mum.
BUCKY: Yes, ma'am.
GABRIELLE: This is Sam Wilson, a friend of ours.
BUCKY: (IN GREEK, SUBTITLED) Περισσότερο σαν τον φίλο σου. (More like your friend.)
GABRIELLE: (IN GREEK, SUBTITLED) Σκάσε. (Shut up.) (IN ENGLISH) And this unfortunate excuse for a human being is Zemo.
ZEMO: (kisses Tulip's hand) Lovely to meet you, моя квітка. (My flower. (UKRAINIAN)) I am Baron Helmut Zemo.
Gabrielle, still feeling a bit odd about seeing her mother for the first time in nearly 20 years, glares at Zemo.
(Gabrielle stiffens and glares at Zemo)
TULIP: (BLUSHING) Well sit down! Does anyone want water? Tea? And how does my Orange know a Baron?
"Where does Orange come from?" Bucky asks.
"Probably my middle name, Clementine," Gabrielle shrugs.
Bucky hums. "I like it." She blushes slightly.
BUCKY: (SIGHS) It's a long story.
GABRIELLE: (still glaring at Zemo) Water please, Mum.
(After Tulip leaves the room, Gabrielle grabs Zemo by the collar of his coat and shoves him against the wall)
A few people jump.
GABRIELLE: (QUIETLY) Flirt with my mother again, I kill you. Is that clear?
"Damn, two threats for his life in less than 24 hours," Clint says sadly.
"He deserves it," Bucky mutters darkly.
ZEMO: (SMIRKS) As glass.
(Gabrielle lets him go)
TULIP: What are the four of you doing here? And before you say it's because you wanted to see your lovely mother, I know it's not.
"Busted," Sirius snickers.
GABRIELLE: Mum-
TULIP: It's mother's intuition, you know that. Spill.
"Oh shit. Not mother's intuition," Steve groans. Bucky nods sadly in agreement.
SAM: It's a long story.
GABRIELLE: Sure, we can call it that.
TULIP: I've got time.
