NOTE: I have very evidently mentioned that Ma'vona belonged to the Tawkami clan in the previous chapters but writing the recent chapters along with doing some research, I decided to replace Ma'vona's clan to Kame'tire clan which is going to have similar history resemblance as the one in the videogame 'Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.'

Chapter Eight:
CaptiveI could hear distant voices echoing through the haze of my deep slumber. The sound of cheers rose in waves, as a commanding voice roared over the crowd, demanding attention. My eyelids felt impossibly heavy, refusing to part. I tried to shift, but my arms hung limply, cold and numb from the lack of blood flow. A sharp pain tugged at my shoulders, and I could feel my wrists bound tightly by a rope that bit into my skin like thorns.
“Go and get someone to treat my wound!"
The deep, masculine voice cut through me close near to my ears like a blade, sending shivers down my spine. I struggled to force my eyes open, the weight of exhaustion pinning them shut. Then, I felt it—a hot breath on my face. My lashes fluttered involuntarily as my eyes parted slightly, revealing a blurred world of shadows and shifting lights. A figure knelt before me, his outline splashed in the glow of nearby flames, and even in my dazed state, I could feel his eyes boring into me.
My head drooped forward, too weak to hold it up any longer. My entire body ached as if it were protesting against every movement. Suddenly, a hand gripped my chin, rough and unyielding, forcing my head up.
"Hey, wake up. How long are you gonna sleep?" the voice mocked, dripping with cruelty.
Before I could gather myself, I heard a voice, hoarse but filled with fury. “Don’t touch her, you skxawng!” It was Neteyam.
His words hit the air like a threat, but they didn’t stop the figure in front of me. He let go of my chin, but not without a final, unsettling rub.
“Do you even realize where you are?” the man’s voice was thick with intimidation, daring me to comprehend the situation. My mind was still swimming in a fog of half-consciousness, but I knew enough—I was in danger. Desperately, I fought to open my eyes fully, my body unwilling, but my will stronger. Gradually, the world came into clearer focus. Flames flickered all around, casting a deep, red glow on the surrounding figures. Everything was bathed in shadow and fire.
