Lilly's POV
I wrote a song called, "Best Thing I Got" (Originally sung by Sabrina Carpenter) I was going to sing it after the concert when everyone was gone, the band of the lad's and the guys themselves were going to help me. I really hoped he would like it.
After the concert he pulled me to a private room and he said, "Lilly, we need to break up. It's just, things aren't working out."
I hugged him once more saying, "It's okay, Harry. I understand. What guy wants me, even Harry Styles himself. I better get going my flight leaves soon. Thanks again for all of the tour merchandise and I hope we can still be friends. I'll always love you. Goodbye, Harry..."
I left without another word. I was tearing up and Niall saw me asking, "What's wrong, are you ready to sing to Harry?"
I sobbed harder saying, "He broke up with me!"
Niall hugged me and I said, "I need to leave Niall, I need to go home, get away from everything!"
He led me to the dressing room and I said bye to Louis and Liam.
Niall said, "We expect to hear from you again, Lilly."
I said, "You're too hard to forget, Niall."
I handed Niall the card Harry gave me saying, "This is his, it's money he gave me, but I don't need it. I'll never forget you guys. I'll talk to you soon."
I flew home with my mom. I told her that I broke up with Harry saying that I didn't want the distance anymore and she didn't press the matter. When I got to school on Monday my two friends asked what happened. I said, "He broke up with me, he said, 'things weren't working out...' I was stupid enough to fall for him and I was stupid to actually agree to go out with him." They all hugged me and I refused to cry.
I said, "It's okay, please no one ask anymore about it. I will be okay, just need to recoop." They nodded and life went on.
I actually found out that night that my mom finally kicked out my mentally abusing father out of our rental house. He wasn't my biological father, I'm adopted, and it was good. I was happy.

However, a few weeks later, my mom tragically died in a car accident on the way to work. I remember the day so clearly. I was in Student Council running the meeting since all of the seniors were running the blood drive we had going on and I was the only other person in a Student Body position that wasn't at the blood drive.
Our principal came in with our on campus officer and a woman in a suit. I said, "What can I do for you, Mrs. Smith?"
She said, "We would like a word with you after the meeting."
I nodded saying, "We're just finishing up." I smiled and closed the meeting.
They took me to the back and the woman said, "I am Ms. Wate, social services."
I shook her hand saying, "Nice to meet you, now not to be rude, but why are you here?"
She said, "I regret to inform you that your mother has died in a car accident."
I said, "No, she couldn't have!"
She said, "I'm sorry, Lilly." I broke down crying and fell to my knees. Everyone heard my because I was sobbing so loud. My best friend Bailey hugged me and they told my two student advisors what happened. Everyone gasped and I calmed myself down. Everyone was shooed away except my best friend Bailey.
I finally asked, "What happens next?" She said, "You have to be taken into court for your family to decide who you will reside with until you are eighteen."
I said, "I was supposed to go to my grandparents if my mom died, not my fathers."
She said, "Your father has filed a dispute saying it is best if you go live with him in California."
I said, "He expects me to pack up my life and live with him?!"
She said, "I am assigned to your case and I must ask you questions about your position and what you want to do. The court always decided in the best interest of the child in question. I expect we can make sure you go to where you want to go."
I nodded and said, "Do I have to leave now, I have school to finish?"
Mrs. Smith said, "I have contacted your teachers and have all of your coursework for today and tomorrow is waiting for us in the front office. Any tests or assignments you miss may be turned into your teachers on Tuesday." I nodded thanking her. I hugged Bailey goodbye and I went to see my grandparents.
I called Niall late that night and he said, "Lilly, how are you?"
I asked, "Is Liam and Louis there?"
He said, "No, they're recording, why, did you need to talk to us?"
I said, " All three of you, just please, don't tell Harry!"
He said, "Alright, I'll Skype you on the phone when I have them together, they can take a quick break."
After a few minutes later I was Skyped by my boys and they said, "Lilly!" I cracked a small smile before breaking down crying.
Niall asked, "What happened?!"
I sobbed, "M-my mom was k-killed in a c-car accident."
They all gasped and I sobbed. I eventually calmed myself down saying, "My dad wants claim over me even though I'm supposed to go to my grandparent's."
Louis said, "He can't though, your mom kicked him out, didn't she?"
I nodded saying, "He is still going to try. I have a trial tomorrow and I have to testify and then on Monday I have a funeral to attend."
More tears flowed out and Liam said, "We have to come see you. We're on a break and we need to see you."
I shook my head saying, "No. You four have a sixth album to record, I need to live my life here."
Niall said, "Lilly, we knew your mum, we have to pay our respects."
I nodded saying, "Well, you'd have to get a hotel, but you definitely can come. I'll email you the information and email me your information I'll have my Uncle drive us up to the airport, but you boys have to disguise yourselves. No one can know how you know me."
They agreed. I said, "Is love you guys, I wish we saw each other on different terms." They all nodded and I asked, "Can you help me, guys? I want to sing a song at my mom's funeral. It's call See You Again by Carrie Underwood, can you help me and play for me. Niall on the guitar, Liam on Panio, and Louis on drums. It doesn't have to be perfect, just real. I want to do it. Please?" They agreed instantly and we hung up.

Okay, 'Fools' by Troye Sivan is literally the perfect song for Lilly's perspective, with the break up and the new events happening in her life, I just love it!
