"Oh, it'll come down soon
Nothing this good ever
lasts this long for me
Oh, it'll come down soon,
you'll see"
-Come Down Soon
Lizzy McAlpineMy vision is almost fuzzy, very bright, and shiny. Logan forgave me, we talked it out, and we both agreed that it would be better if we got to know each other better before anything happened.
Logan and I have decided to ditch school and go to the beach. I know I shouldn't have skipped on my first day, but something about the way he spoke was all too convincing.
We drove about an hour to the nearest beach, which was surprisingly completely empty and stunning. The waves crashing against the shore shined, and the sand between my toes was soft and comforting.
We set up a small picnic blanket and two beach chairs, and as I set myself up to tan, Logan went to- surf? I had no clue he knew how, but there he was, his hair blowing almost movie-like.
I'm lying down tanning on my blanket when I feel water dripping onto me. "Jordan." I open my eyes, staring at Logan's green eyes. My face fills with heat, and a small cheesy grin grows on his face.
I whispered a minor "Hi," and he gave me a confusing expression. His eyes bounced from mine to my lips and back. I answered his look with a nod, and we were kissing.
Just like that. His hands are tangled in my hair, and his lips begin to travel down my neck.
"Jordan." I let out a small sigh, as his teeth nip at my neck. "Jordan," I bring his face back to mine, and our tongues begin battling for dominance.
"Jordan!"
I wake up doused in water, Josh holding an empty bowl in front of me. It was just a dream. "What the hell?!" I look at Josh for answers, his expression new.
"It's late. Like you have thirty minutes late." He's wholly dressed and eyeing me with annoyance. "My alarm. Oh god, I forgot to set it with everything going on."
He rolls his eyes; I don't think Josh is a morning person at all. "Why do you look like that?" he's watching my face intensely.
"You threw water at me, and I'm completely soaked. What did you want me to look like a model?" he rolls his eyes again. "No, you're all flushed, and your eyes are wide, and it's like." he pauses before growing a grin, "you had a sex dream."
"What? Pshh, no, I didn't." I'm not technically lying. "I dreamt of a giraffe dancing, the one from Madagascar." he starts laughing excitedly. "You totally had a sex dream. Who was it about?" he starts grabbing my uniform and shoes from my closet.
"Get ready because you are telling me all about this dream on the way to class." I groan; now he's a morning person.
"There was no dream, like I said. I have nothing to tell you unless you're interested in hearing about the singing giraffe." I walk over, grab my uniform from him, and walk into the closet, letting the door cover his view of me.
"Dancing."
"What?"
"You said the giraffe was dancing."I did say that. "Right, Uhm." I slipped on my skirt and buttoned up my shirt before responding, "He did both. He sang and danced. He gave a very talented performance." I slipped on my tie and walked out into his view; I bent down and laced my shoes.
"That's not tied right. Let me help." I finish tying my laces before standing and letting Josh fix my tie. He looks up at me and says, "Who was the dream about?"
"Nobody." I groan out and begin looking through the boxes under my bed for my hair dryer. "Jordan. I've had my fair share of sex dreams, you can tell me."
