Thanumalayan Temple,  TEMPLE. Oh! This one” Alara recognizes the temple in the blink of an eye. The results of studying for the whole week. She reaches the temple around 10:00 am and starts working. “This feels nice! Working and learning at the same time” she thinks while guiding the tourists. She tells everyone that she found the temple like she has been there for the 100th time. “This temple, it’s also called ‘Sthanumalayan Temple’ locally. The word breakdown is just the name of the gods that are worshipped here. ‘Stanu’ stands for lord shiva, ‘Mal’ for lord Vishnu and ‘Ayan’ means lord brahma. They are believed to be the ‘Trimurti’. The three that control the world in Hindu mythology. This temple was built across 2 acres in the 17th century and has over 108 lord shiva idols. It's famous for the amazing sculptures here. It was built by the cholas ruling in Travancore by Dravidian architects. “The fact that they were designed effortlessly but perfectly in the 1700’s with amazing architecture makes a lot of temples in k.k amazing” she goes on like that for about an hour and half. Anyone who looks at Alara would understand how happy Alara is doing her job. At the end of the tour. One of the tourists thanks Alara for telling them about the temple. “We’ll surely visit at the time of morning rituals at 5:00 am next time thanks for telling us” Someone else says.
