Alara goes home and notices her flat’s door is unlocked.“What the? Did I not lock the door when I left?” she thinks. She peeks through the door and sees the lights are on. “No way! I definitely turned off the lights and locked the door too!” she assures herself. Alara takes a deep
breath and walks inside and hears a faint sound of music. Alara stills. “Now seriously, what’s going on today? Who
would even break into my house?” she internally yells, careful not to make any noise. When she sees no one, Alara rushes to the couch and grabs the tv remote and turns off the tv. She looks around breathing heavily but someone closes her eyes from behind.

She tries to free herself by doing all the taekwondo she never learnt. He steps back and removes his hand when he
notices that there are tears in her eyes. Alara turns around close to crying “ASHISH? Are you crazy? why would you do that? She yells. Ashish notices the panic in her eyes.“Hey! Hey! Calm down! It's me don’t worry” he says slowly taking two steps and pulling Alara into his embrace as carefully and as softly as he can. “Alara! It’s just me but what’s wrong? Why are you scared? He asks her in low voice by patting her back. Alara pulls back from the hug. “I’m fine. Just a random guy followed till home” she says. “Followed you home? What exactly happened?” he asks about handling Alara a glass of water.

Alara drinks the water and flops onto the couch. “Well, I was waiting to return from work and…..” she tells him
everything that has happened on her way home. Ashish listens to her nodding until Alara is done speaking. “Yeah, which I why I freaked out so much when you closed my eyes” Alara says pausing. She looks at Ashish for a second. She jumps to the side, sitting exactly across Ashish and eyed him suspiciously.

“You’re not psycho analysing me. Are you?”

“What? No!”

“Yeah! Because, I don’t think y’all psychology majors should analyze/treat your friends. Isn’t that an unwritten
rule” she says.

“Yeah, it is but believe me, I’m not doing that” he says.

“Sure! That’s good” she says believing him in an instant.

“Yeah! Now let’s go eat dinner and not worry about that guy. Maybe he’s just like you” Ashish says.

“Huh? What do you mean?” she asks.

“Maybe he’s just doing a prank like you did” he says.

“Oh! But he knew my name Ashish”

“Then it might be someone you know pranking on you with him. Don’t worry too much about it”

“Huh! Maybe okay then, I’ll go freshen up and we’ll have dinner. Just 5 mins” she says rushing into her room.

"Yeah, it should be a prank” she hopes while showering. She goes back to the living room.

“Hey! What are you doing?” Alara yells.
“Well, I’m tearing the roti into pieces for you. No forks and spoons this time please. It was traumatizing enough last time” Ashish replies.
