Vimala stills, too frightened to react. Right then a priest walks to them in a hurry chanting mantra. The serpent Crawls back to where it came from when the priest arrives Vimala then takes a deep breath relaxing. The priest them looks at Vimala tensed. “Are you okay Aunty?” Ashish asks Vimala. “Yes, I am” she says taking a deep breath. “Why would it attack me though? Is there a reason?” she asks the priest. “No particular reason. there's no problem, don’t worry” he assures her. “Why does he look tense though. There's definitely something he’s not telling us. Is it because of me.” Alara thinks. “Let's go back now, shall we?” Ashish asks. she nods “Let's go Yeah!” Vimala says. “Oh! lord! She’s not the one. Hope she'll be safe” the priest thinks as they leave the temple.

They go back to the hotel, have their dinner, and take a rest, deciding to leave the next morning. “Did I do something wrong. why would the snake attack me?”Vimala thinks. “Aunty!” Alara knocks on the door. “Don't think about what happened at the temples and sleep well” she says walking in and hugging Vimala saying a good night. “Good night Alara” Vimala says, “Good night aunty!” she replies and goes to sleep.
They go back to KK in the morning and get back to their daily lives. Ashish goes to the collage and Alara attends work.
At 3:00 PM:
Alara gets her work done for the day and leaves the office“I’ve to hurry up so we don't get late” Alara thinks rushing to Ashish's home to take him to the art museum since painting is what they're mutually interested in. she knocks on the door twice and no one opens the door. Alara tires the third time and then gives up pushing the door holding the handle. she realizes the door has been unlocked. All along. “Oh! why Is it unlocked?” she thinks walking inside. She sees Vicky writing something like his life depends on it. She walks to him quietly “Vicky!” she yells. Vicky shivers freaking out. “Hey Crazy! You scared the shit out of me” he says. Alara giggles. “What are you doing?” she asks. “It's Ashish's birthday In two days. so, I'm preparing a list of things I am Supposed to do and bring for his birthday.” He answers. “What? It’s his birthday?” Alara asks. “Don't tell me you forgot. He's going to kill you if he finds out.” Vicky says.
