Vimala looks at Alara shocked on the other hand Madhura Cuts the call “I’ll tell you about it beta! But please calm down. first and sit down” Vimala says. She starts explaining about the curse they were talking about “So because of killing the snake, the curse started, and it might put you in danger Vimala says, after telling her everything about that So called curse. Alara recalls whatever Prashant had told her the before day and how it’s the same thing Vimala has told her now. Alara’s body starts sweating and she tries to calm down “So is that why mom doesn’t let me Come to India?” she asks. Vimala nods. “And that is why she never returned back here just so you would think there’s nothing. Important for your family in India.”

Vimala says a tear drop slips from her eyes. Alara tries to think about it like an optimist. “I Can go back to Canada tomorrow. So, I won’t die. Yeah let’s just
go back & meet mom first. No coming back” she thinks Alara decides on it. She packs her bags. and goes back to have dinner downstairs.

Alara tries to enjoy the last dinner she might be having in India. “The food tastes amazing aunty” she says. Vimala smiles a little. “Enjoy the food without worrying about anything” she says Alara nods. “You could talk to me for some time if you can’t sleep Yet”Vimala says. “Thank you aunty but I will just go to sleep” Alara says & Smiles. They shared a hug. Alara tries to sleep like she said she will, But she couldn’t. All she could think about how she almost died because of a snake bite. So she ends up staying awake for more than half of the night and falls asleep around 4 am in the morning.

29th Feb 2052:

Alara wakes up at unusual timings compared to her everyday life. Maybe it's the side effect of sleeping before the sunrise “Alara beta! It’s too late to stay
asleep.wake up and have some food.” she hears Vimala say when she’s half awake. She turns around and looks at the clock. “11:00 AM” the screen reads. she gets out of bed and greets Vimala a good morning. “Did I just wake up to a human greeting me good morning? Damn! It’s been
years” she thinks. Alara freshens up and Vimala brings her a filter Coffee. Alara takes a sip and pauses “This tastes so good” she says. she finishes the Coffee “Aunty you make the best coffee I’ve ever tasted”. She says.

2:00 PM:

After having their lunch Alara sits in Couch having no idea what to do. She just looks at the pictures on their walls. “Do you want to look at our pictures? More of
these” Vimala says pointing at that one pic of her & Madhura, Alara nods curiously. They look at the pictures together. While Vimala explains some memories behind
the pictures that she forever cherishes. “You look bored and want to play agame?” Vimala interrupts Alara’sthoughts. “What kind of game?” Alara asks. “It’s tambola. It was the best game of my days”. Vimala says.“It’s my first-time hearing about it. I have no clue how to play it” Alara says. “No problem. I’ll teach you” Vimala replies. “Sure! Let’s play then aunty” Alara Says. After playing for about an hour they end the game. Vimala decides to clean the garden and Alara suggests that she help her with it. when they are in the garden “Oh no! I forgot the equipment” Vimala says, “I’ll go get them where are they?” Alara asks. “The storeroom is on the first floor. You can see the garden tools bag” Vimala says

Alara goes up the stairs it’s her 1st time going to right side of the 1st floor. All she knows about it is,Ramanaidu’s study room he told her about she walks ahead and sees a half-opened door. The room inside
booked a bit dark and abandoned. “This must be the storeroom” she thinks and goes in. Maybe Alara has never seen a stove room like that or maybe it’s not a
storeroom at all. Alara sees few machines & devices and electrical wires lying around.

She looks around her breath hitches. when she sees it. Alara goes towards it, forgetting the reason she has gone upstairs . “Is Vimala aunty a mechanical
engineer, so did she make this?” she thinks to herself. “But wait is this thing really a time machine? Does it work?” she thinks again. Curiosity growing wilder in her Alara touches the machine she puts her hand on the transparent glass. The door slides open, she goes inside.

A digital screen appears on the transparent glass. The screen blinks twice or thrice. “THE TIME MACHINE IS WELCOMING YOU” the screen shows. “Woah” Alara exclaims examining every detail of the machine. “Your Name?” The screen shows. Alara enters her name. “Age! It shows again!” , “22” she enters
her age. The screen slides right “TYPE AN YEAR” the screen reads, and it shows a keypad. “Is this even possible” Alara laughs. “But let’s try it” she thinks.“How about going back to when I was born” , “2030”she decided to type it. But the screen glitches when she types the ‘3’ The years keep rolling back and the screen
doesn’t get controlled anymore. The place she’s standing in starts rotating. Alara’s body tenses. A strong light converges from the machine and a sound emerges in the
room…
