Who Did It?

Logan had just gotten off the phone with the man he was trying to get in contact with, needing some answers that were clearly going to be ignored or made up.

Sucking his lower lip into his mouth, was this even worth it? Was finding out who murdered one of the Brotherhoods men even worth it? They have their differences, sure but Logan can't stand the other side yet again...if they're important to Charles, god knows why...then Logan has to do something to help.

Plus Erik has been at peace for sometime now, although his men still irritate the crap out of Logan with their snarky remarks and dumb smirks. Especially Sabretooth who keeps egging Logan on for another rowdy first fight.

Logan didn't see any point in helping them out but every time he tried to ignore the feeling, Charles soft smile would enter his mind and all the times he's helped people that probably didn't deserve it but still got the second chance they begged for.

''There you are, what are you doing out here in the cold baby?'' Scott shivered, wrapping his arms around himself.

Logan smiled, sliding his phone back into the pocket of his pants.

''Yeah, sorry for ditching like that.'' Logan wanted to so badly tell Scott that wouldn't it be best to just come upfront and ask around the Lucky Seven about the Brotherhoods man but...he would just brush it off and talk about how bad the Lucky Seven punks are.

Scott pulled Logan in close, kissing his cheek while rubbing his arms for warmth.

''What's on that mind of yours, gotta be a reason why you're out here.''

Logan lined his lips, debating on what he wanted to say.

''Actually yes, you're not going to like the idea though but I already made a call and I'm going to get to the bottom of this.''

Scott pulled away, knitting his brows together in confusion but waiting for the older man to continue.

''I called John, I told him what we know and that I need answers. Before you scold me or get upset just hear me out Scotty. I don't like the Brotherhood but I'm willing to help and ask around if anybody knew about their guy. Our first pin should be asking the Lucky Seven since they apparently know 'everything' but you know John would probably tell me whatever it is I want to know.''

Scott rolled his eyes, knowing exactly why Logan said what he said.

''Because he fucking likes you, the way he looks at you and smiles when you start talking.''

''What? No? Bub, John needs friends and that's what he found in me. A friend who he can talk to without having to throw himself into meetings and talk about what kind of people he locked up.''

Scott clenched his jaw before speaking.

''Logan, you can't be that fucking dense. John doesn't just talk to anybody, he's taken a-''

''Am I interrupting something again? Seems that's all I'm good at doing these days.'' Speak of the fucking devil, Scott wanted to say.

Logan and Scott pulled away from each other, so much words needed to be said but not enough privacy.

''As always, welcome to our home anyways. What brings you here?'' Scott sarcastically asked, arms crossed.
