"Ugh! Can you believe this Hanni?! I got grounded for a whole month!" Minji complained as she stared at Hanni, hopping that she would back her up.
Her arms flailing around in the air, however she instantly regretted it as she felt an ache in her arms, complaining to Hanni who was peacefully sitting next to her.
However, to Minji's dismay, Hanni laughed at Minji. Her mouth wide open as she wiped away imaginary tears from her eyes.
"Seriously? Only a month? How lucky! I wouldn't be able to go outside for the rest of my life if I was you." Hanni paused, letting out a deep sigh. "Oh how I wish to have parents like your's," Hanni replied, looking up with a dreamy smile, fantasizing about having Minji's parents.
Minji narrowed her eyes at Hanni, raising up her hand and hitting her in the side to get her attention, to which Hanni let out a painful yell at the contact.
"Hey, you're supposed to be on my side."
Minji said irritatedly, giving Hanni a piercing glare. All Hanni did was shrug her shoulders and give Minji a playfully smirk.Hanni stuck out her tongue at Minji, as if taunting her. Minji rolled her eyes at the girl, looking at the window placed so conveniently next to her bed.
Suddenly, an idea had struck her, her eyebrows raising in excitement and her smile widened.
She grabbed onto Minji's arm and shakes it aggressively to get her attention.
"How about we pay a visit to the Kang's? It's gonna be so fun. Especially with the extra adrenaline with not getting caught. We could get Danielle to join too," Hanni suggested, a wide smile planted on her face as she stared at Minji with pleading eyes. That girl could not get enough of Danielle or the Kang's huh?
Minji furrowed her eyebrows in response. Go out again and possibly risk the chance of getting her legs amputated? No way!
Minji shook her head, almost desperately. "What, no! I'm not going through that again. Maybe when I'm fully healed, but not now..." Minji paused, pursing her lips before continuing.
"And did you forget that I can't walk?" Minji responded, crossing her hands as she stared down at her bandaged up legs. Grimacing at the ache that served as a reminder to never do such dangerous things again.
Hanni pouted, tugging on Minji's arm as she whined annoyingly. "Come on Min! It would be fun. I promise. Stop using that 'I can't walk' as an excuse, we'll find a way to get there." Holding onto Minji's arm and shaking it.
Hanni tried her best to persuade Minji, giving Minji the cutest pout she had ever seen on Hanni and even doing some cute gestures for her. Minji should be grateful that she's experiencing this, only a few people get to see it.
However, Minji pretended to gag and push Hanni away on her forehead using her finger. Making Hanni raise her hands up in the air as she pretended to cry, pushing Minji with the same force and saying how Minji had hurt her feelings.
All Minji could do was to stare in disgust and embarrassment. She tried slapping Hanni's head softly to get her to stop.
"What are you doing... That's embarrassing." Minji said, trying her best for Hanni to stop. Hanni gave Minji a sly smirk as she continued her dramatic act.
After that drama session that seemed like it went on forever, Hanni sighed and smiled. "Okay... Okay. How about we just hang around at the garden? That doesn't count as going out right?" Hanni suggested, tilting her head.
Minji pondered for a while. Is it considered as going out? Well who cares, you only live once. Looking up at Hanni, Minji nodded her head.
"Finally, first time you thought of an idea from that doesn't get me killed, wow, are you sure you're not a Hanni from another universe?" Minji joked, earning a smile from Hanni.
