Chapter 9 - Black Cat and Minji + someone

Minji has no idea how she had gotten herself into this situation.

She does, actually.

She offered to take care of the cat that had been stalking her out of pure pressure.

So now the sight of her feeding a cat was not out of the ordinary.

She was unsure why she chose to take care of the cat, she could have let it go. Or maybe give it to her neighbors.

But no she did not.

Her mother has been avoided her for the past few weeks, Minji figured it was because of her mother's allergy.

But she would still feel a pang in her heart everytime she sees her mother actively trying to avoid her.

One time she asked where did her mother place her favorite cereal at, but all she got in return was a shriek and a cardboard box (it was the cereal) to her face.

She still has a slight bruise from the experience.

At least she can walk now.

Her legs were still slightly disfigured but it was not that bad, she could still take a few steps. By a few as in a lot.

Back to the present day. Minji would be sitting on the edge of her bed with a sardine in her hand, holding out to the black cat sitting on the floor.

"Meow"

Minji stared at the cat that was currently calling out to her. (Probably because she was holding a sardine in her hand.)

The feline eyes staring right into her soul, not intending to stop until it was fed.

Minji's gaze lowered down towards the cat's neck, seeing how there was a name tag connected to he leash that it was wearing.

"Sebastian," Minji called out. The cat's name rolling off her tongue naturally, like it was her own cat.

Upon hearing it's name being called, the cat tilted it's head and meowed again.

"Meow"

...

"Shut up"

...

"Meow"

Minji huffed out in annoyance. Throwing the sardine on the floor, the sardine leaving a little stain in the carpet.

Minji looked away, seeing from her side view the cat running over to the sardine and taking it into it's mouth. Making loud, unnecessary chewing noises as it ate the sardine. It was like it was mocking Minji. She hated it.

Just how long does she need to take care of that black thing? (Not trying being racist or anything, I just couldn't think of anything to call the cat.)

-

A shuffle was felt next to Minji, waking her up from her slumber. She opened her eyes just to met with a certain animal sleeping next to her.

Or the cat, sleeping almost on top of her.

The cat's bum rested on her face, almost restricting her ability to breathe.

Panicked, Minji at up, which ultimately caused the cat to sprang up and hiss at her. Not before it brought it's hand towards Minji's face and left a particular mark that she is not going to be happy to see.
