Morning sunlight filtered through Jungkook's windows. Jimin stirred, stretching on the couch. "Morning," Jungkook said, yawning. "Morning," Jimin replied, smiling. They exchanged warm gazes, their connection still strong.

As Jimin stood up, Jungkook asked, "Feeling better?" Jimin nodded, and they began preparing for school. Jimin hummed, feeling at ease with Jungkook again. Their easy banter returned, and at school, they walked side by side.

"Missed this," Jimin said, his voice filled with affection. Jungkook smiled, replying, "Missed you." Their hands brushed, sending Jimin's heart racing.

Old habits resurfaced, and they settled into a comfortable silence, exchanging understanding glances. Their bond remained unbroken. For Jimin, being with Jungkook was home, and he knew Jungkook felt the same.

Jimin protested, "No, Kookie! That's not what I meant. I just don't want you to get hurt. Taehyung's world is different from ours."

Jungkook's expression turned cold, his determination burning brighter. "I won't get hurt, Jimin. And I won't back down."

Jungkook stood up, his chair scraping against the floor. Jimin asked, "Where are you going, Kookie?" with concern etched on his face. Jungkook replied, "I'm going to prove you wrong about Taehyung - he's a kind person." He walked away, leaving Jimin bewildered.

Jungkook approached Taehyung, a confident smile on his face. "Hi, can I sit here?" he asked. Taehyung looked up, his eyes sparkling with warmth, and nodded with a big smile. "Please do," Taehyung said.

Jungkook sat down, and they exchanged pleasantries. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter. Jimin watched from afar, a mix of curiosity and worry on his face. Was Jungkook really trying to prove a point, or was he genuinely interested in Taehyung?
