"Where are you going?" Taehyung asked with sobs.

Jungkook replied, "I'm going to sleep in the guest room. There's peace there."

Taehyung's voice cracked as he spoke, his words laced with pain and realization. "So, you're saying our room, our home, isn't peaceful because of me? You're really giving up on us, aren't you?"

Jungkook's silence was deafening, and Taehyung's eyes stung with tears as he watched him disappear into the guest room.

Taehyung called out, his voice barely above a whisper, "Jungkook!" The door creaked open, revealing Jungkook's exhausted face.

"Can we really fix this?" Taehyung's voice trembled, his desperation palpable.

Jungkook's expression softened, but his words remained resolute. "I need time, Taehyung. Space. And honesty. Can you give me that?"

Taehyung nodded, his eyes pleading. "I'll give you anything, Jungkook. Just don't leave me." The door closed again, leaving Taehyung with only shadows and regrets.

__________

The darkness enveloped them, a heavy silence filling the space between their rooms. Taehyung lay awake, his thoughts consumed by Jungkook's absence. He longed to reach out, to bridge the gap between them, but his pride and fear held him back.

In the guest room, Jungkook tossed and turned, his mind racing with memories of their arguments and the hurtful words exchanged. He yearned for Taehyung's warmth, for the comfort of his embrace, but his heart remained guarded.

As the hours ticked by, the tension between them grew thicker, a palpable force that seemed to pulse with their unspoken emotions.

Taehyung's gaze drifted toward the door, his hand instinctively reaching for the handle before hesitating. He didn't want to intrude, didn't want to assume Jungkook would welcome him.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's ears strained to catch any sound from Taehyung's room, hoping for a sign, a whisper, anything that might indicate his desire to reconcile.

The silence stretched out, a fragile, unspoken understanding hanging between them: both wanted to reconnect, but neither dared take the first step.

The night wore on, an endless expanse of longing and regret, each moment weighing heavier than the last.

AFTER SOMETIMES.

Taehyung talked to himself, "Come on, Taehyung, it's your fault. You need to fix this. There's no way I'm letting Jimin win this battle."

With newfound determination, Taehyung stood up and walked to the guest room. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for the conversation ahead.

He gently knocked on the door and slipped inside. Jungkook lay on the bed, his eyes closed, but Taehyung knew he wasn't sleeping.

"Jungkook," Taehyung whispered, his voice barely audible.

Jungkook's eyes flickered open, their gazes meeting in the dim light.

Taehyung approached the bed, his steps cautious. "I know I messed up. I was blind to my own fears, and I hurt you."

Jungkook's expression remained guarded.

Taehyung continued, his words pouring out in a rush. "But I realize now, it's not just about me or you – it's about us. And I won't let my insecurities or Jimin's opinions tear us apart."

Jungkook's eyes narrowed slightly.

Taehyung sat beside him on the bed. "I promise to work on my trust issues, to communicate openly and honestly. I want to rebuild our relationship, stronger than before."
