Jungkook rushed to the hospital, his heart was racing with worry. He had to see Yoongi, had to make sure he was okay. When he finally reached Jimin's hospital room, he took a deep breath and pushed the door open.
Yoongi was sitting beside Jimin's bed, his eyes fixed on Jimin's pale face. He looked up as Jungkook entered, and their eyes met in a moment of silent understanding.
Jungkook rushed to Yoongi's side, wrapping his arms around him in a tight hug. "Hyung, I'm so sorry. I'm here for you okay?"
Yoongi's body was rigid, his eyes fixed on Jimin's face. He didn't seem to be registering Jungkook's presence, his mind consumed by worry and fear.
Jungkook held him tightly, trying to offer what little comfort he could. "Hyung, it's going to be okay. Jimin is going to be okay. We'll get through this together, okay?"
But Yoongi just shook his head, his eyes welling up with tears. "No, Kookie. I don't know if he's going to make it. I don't know if I can lose him."
Jungkook's voice was firm and resolute as he held Yoongi tightly. "Hyung, listen to me. Jimin is going to be okay. I promise you that. He's strong, and he's going to pull through this. We'll all be here for him, and for you. We'll get through this together, as a family."
Yoongi's eyes searched Jungkook's face, desperate for reassurance. Jungkook's expression was unwavering, his eyes locked on Yoongi's.
"I promise you, hyung," Jungkook repeated, his voice filled with conviction. "Jimin will be okay. We'll make sure of it."
AFTER SOMETIMES.
Jungkook's voice was gentle but firm as he suggested, "Hyung, you should go home and take a shower. You've been here for hours, and you need to take care of yourself too."
Yoongi's eyes widened in protest, his grip on Jimin's hand tightening. "No, Kookie, I'm not leaving him. What if...what if something happens while I'm gone?"
Jungkook's expression was understanding, but he stood firm. "Hyung, I'll stay here with Jimin. I'll make sure he's okay. You need to take care of yourself, or you'll end up collapsing from exhaustion. Just go home, take a shower, and get some rest. I'll call you the minute anything changes."
Yoongi hesitated, his eyes searching Jungkook's face for reassurance. Finally, he nodded slowly, his grip on Jimin's hand relaxing. "Okay, Kookie. But promise me you'll call me the minute anything changes."
Jungkook nodded, his expression solemn. "I promise, hyung. I'll call you the minute anything changes."
AFTER YOONGI WENT AWAY.
Jungkook sat down beside Jimin's bed, his eyes fixed on Jimin's pale face. He gently took Jimin's hand in his, feeling a surge of nostalgia wash over him. "Hey, Jimin," Jungkook whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "Do you remember when we were kids, and we used to sneak into the kitchen to steal cookies?"
Jungkook's eyes sparkled with memories as he continued to talk. "And do you remember when we went on that family trip to the beach? You built the biggest sandcastle I'd ever seen."
Jungkook's voice cracked with emotion as he spoke. "Jimin, I'm so grateful for all the memories we've made together. You're my best friend, my brother. Please, Jimin, don't leave me. I need you."
Jungkook continues with emotion as he spoke, his words pouring out from the depths of his heart. "We made a promise, Jimin. Do you remember? We promised that when we grew older, our babies would be besties. But if you give up now, that dream is never going to come true."
Jungkook's grip on Jimin's hand tightened, his eyes pleading with Jimin to come back. "Please, Jimin, come back to us. Your baby is almost here. Please don't give up now. You have to meet your baby, Jimin. You have to see the life you've created."
