In the morning, Taehyung woke up still angry with Jungkook. He turned away, avoiding eye contact.

Jungkook sensed the tension. "Good morning, Tae," he said softly.

Taehyung remained silent, his back to Jungkook.

Jungkook's hand reached out, hesitating before gently touching Taehyung's shoulder. "Tae, please talk to me."

Taehyung shrugged off Jungkook's hand. "Nothing to talk about."

The air was thick with unspoken emotions. Jungkook knew Taehyung was still hurt.

"I'll make breakfast," Jungkook said, trying to break the silence.

Taehyung didn't respond.

Jungkook retreated to the kitchen, leaving Taehyung alone.

AFTER SOMETIMES.

Jungkook ordered ice cream and returned to Taehyung, holding a sweet peace offering.

Taehyung's expression transformed from sulky to surprised.

He jumped out of bed, eyes widening.

"Oh, my favorite!" Taehyung exclaimed, snatching the ice cream from Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled, relieved. I knew you couldn't stay mad at me," he teased, handing Taehyung a spoon.

Taehyung dug in, the cold sweetness soothing his frustration. "Mint chocolate chip, you know the way to my heart, he said, eyes sparkling.

Jungkook chuckled, sitting beside Taehyung.
"I do, and I'm sorry about last night," Jungkook said, gentle.

Taehyung's gaze softened. I know, Kookie. It's just...hormones," Taehyung admitted.

Jungkook wrapped an arm around Taehyung. I love your pregnant hormones and all  he whispered.

"Get ready, we're going to the hospital," Jungkook announced, helping Taehyung finish his ice cream.

Taehyung's eyes widened. "Already? I thought the appointment was tomorrow."

"Doctor's office called. They want to check on you and the baby," Jungkook explained.

Taehyung scrambled out of bed. "Give me 10 minutes."

Jungkook smiled. "Take your time. I'll get the car ready."

Taehyung rushed through his morning routine.

As they headed out, Jungkook handed Taehyung a water bottle. "Drink this. Doctor said staying hydrated is key."

Taehyung rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "You're going to be one of those overprotective dads, aren't you?"

Jungkook grinned. "Guilty as charged."

The drive to the hospital was filled with anticipation.

They arrived at the hospital, Jungkook leading Taehyung to the obstetrics department.

In the examination room, Dr. Jin greeted them warmly. "Good morning, Taehyung! Let's check on that baby."

Taehyung settled onto the examination table.

Dr jin  began the ultrasound, the machine beeping as images appeared on the screen.

"Everything looks great," Dr jin announced. "Baby's growing perfectly."

Jungkook's eyes shone with excitement.

Taehyung smiled, relief washing over him.

"Can we see the baby's face?" Jungkook asked.
