Dying

The world is dying

why do I care?

children are crying

no one will share

this misery of mine

hearts are breaking

we are losing time

the earth is shaking

I may lose my mind

go insane if you please

I will bring you to your knees

this world is dying

I cannot despair

for no one shall care

tears sweal

I yell

for no help shall come

what is to be done

run, run, run faster

they shall not catch us

hearts filled with lust

for death

Worlds are dying

screams fill my head

I go on, filled with dread

old memories haunt me

don't you see?

this life is over

you will never find that four-leaf clover

you shall never win the lottery

it just will never be

people, animals, and plants are dying

the world is hurt

my heart is burnt

and filled with ashes

this life passes
