It was well past midnight when Lisa and Jisoo, along with their two partners-in-crime, Mark and Jake, gathered in the dark corners of their cabin. With the quiet hum of the camp settling down for the night, they hatched a brilliant, mischievous plan: scare the life out of a few unlucky students. Of course, it wasn't just any students they had in mind—it was none other than Jennie and Rose.
Jisoo, always game for a bit of chaos, volunteered to play the ghost. "I'll be Vanessa," she said with a wicked grin, referring to the campfire story they'd all heard earlier.
Lisa immediately pulled out a white dress from her luggage (don't ask why she had it) and handed it over. Mark and Jake set to work applying makeup on Jisoo's face, making her look like she'd just crawled out of a horror movie. Dark circles around her eyes, pale foundation, and a creepy red stain smeared across her lips completed the transformation.
"Wow, you actually look like you've been dead for 50 years," Jake snickered, stepping back to admire their creation.
Jisoo gave him a deadpan stare, then twisted her face into a creepy smile. "Perfect."
The group crept toward Jennie and Rose's cabin, the cool night air filled with quiet giggles and hushed whispers. Lisa, unable to contain herself, kept choking on laughter, imagining the prank in her head. "This is going to be hilarious."
As they reached the door, Lisa and Jake started scratching at the wood, making eerie, unsettling noises like nails dragging across a chalkboard. The cabin was dead silent, but they could faintly hear the soft snores coming from inside.
After a few more minutes of scratching and moaning, they finally heard rustling inside. Someone was awake. Lisa exchanged glances with Mark, who was barely keeping his laughter in check.
Jisoo stood still outside the door, her "ghostly" form perfectly posed, her face expressionless, her eyes wide and unsettling.
The door creaked open slowly, and there stood Rose, half-asleep but clearly on guard. The instant her eyes landed on Jisoo, standing there like some undead nightmare, Rose's body jerked as if electricity shot through her. She let out a scream that could probably be heard across the camp, and before anyone could react—BAM!
Her fist, in pure reflex, shot out straight into Jisoo's face. The punch landed with precision, right on Jisoo's nose. There was a split second of stunned silence, as everyone processed what just happened. Rose's eyes widened in horror as she realized she had just decked her own girlfriend.
Jisoo stumbled back, holding her nose. "What the—!"
Lisa collapsed to the ground, laughing so hard she was gasping for breath, clutching her stomach like she was about to pass out. "Oh my god, she actually punched you!" she wheezed between fits of hysterical giggling.
Mark and Jake weren't much better, doubled over and howling in laughter as Jisoo stood there, one hand still holding her nose, which was now turning an awkward shade of red.
"I swear... I'm going to haunt you all," Jisoo groaned through the pain, glaring daggers at Rose, who was standing there, mouth agape, in complete shock.
"I-I didn't mean to!" Rose stammered, her hands flying up to her mouth in disbelief. "It was just—reaction! Oh my god, Jisoo, are you okay?"
"I think you broke my nose!" Jisoo yelled, though her voice was slightly muffled from pinching it.
Lisa was still on the ground, tears streaming down her face from how hard she was laughing. "You should've seen your face, Jisoo. I can't—I can't breathe!" she gasped between hysterical snorts.
