Cold bites away at me, I hold my head out of the window, my hair getting drenched in rain, I desperately try to drown out the noise, Lilys screams hurt almost as much as a needle, tears getting mixed with rain... I reached from my window, my small hands desperately reaching out to her window, screaming for them to stop, to stop smacking her, I saw the pain and betrayal in her eyes, the fear... She wasn't used to this... Guilt coursed through me, I ran towards my toy, despite the mold, I grasped it in my hands, throwing it at the window, desperation clear on my face, It shoots forward, bashing against the window again and again and again, it slowly crumbled, disassembling onto the scraggy carpeting of my room, it smashes, my toy falling outside to the alley, I could hear my parents stomping up the stairs, but I didn't care, "GET AWAY FROM HER!" I screamed, she couldn't turn out like me, I wouldn't let her, I looked at the jump from my window to hers, the fall enough to break my legs if I missed, "WAIT! ILL COME AND GET YOU!" My parents smashed throw my door, an angered look on their face, I knew that look, but it was intensified, more angry, I knew if I stayed here I wouldn't live till morning, so before they reached me, I leapt, grabbing onto the window frame, the rain makes my hand slip, my parents watched, no mercy in their eyes, "This is what you deserve for defying me" my Father speaks, calm.
I slip, and everything goes black
