Staring at the heavy clouds hung low in the sky, casting a somber atmosphere over everything outside Angelus' room, I couldn't help but dwell on the events of the past week, each moment replaying in vivid detail. It felt like the days just passed by like a whirlwind, leaving me feeling disoriented and introspective.

After that explosion, Angelus took me here. He said it was the headquarters of their fraternity group, and it was the safest place I could be.

I could tell. Because we weren't even entering the main building, I already saw a lot of armed men scattering around. Instead of feeling intimidated, I felt safer.

I don't want to show him that until now, I'm still having a hard time. That night was so scary. I even thought we'd get bombed through our trip here. It seemed like Angelus was helping the authorities track Ristan.

Because after coming here, he's always in a room with a metal door filled with a lot of armed men. Ze've and Apollo are always with me, too. As if we're not in the safest place.

Unti-unting bumagsak ang ulan na sinundan ng malakas na hangin. I sighed and slowly closed the window. Sinulyapan ko si Angelus na nakahiga sa kama, tulog na tulog. He always stayed up all night for some reason.

He works in that strange room every day and stays up all night while working on his laptop. Now that it's almost four p.m., he's here, taking a nap. He said I should wake him up after fifteen minutes.

Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sa kaniya at naupo sa kama. I tapped his arm lightly, leaning closer to him.

"Angelus, wake up..." I whispered.

His eyes moved, and he slowly opened them. Namungay ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ang pagod sa mga mata niya. The issues under his eyes after those countless sleepless nights are finally catching up with him.

"It's fifteen minutes already?" he asked, his voice rasping.

I protruded my lips. "Do you really need to go back there? Ilang gabi ka nang walang tulog. Maybe you can skip for today and just sleep?" sa nag-aalala ko nang tinig.

He smiled and lifted his right arm. Sobrang pungay ng mga mata niya. I feel really bad. I don't think he's even working on his business anymore. He's obsessing over tracking Ristan, I know. Because I heard him sleep-talking every time he took a nap.

"I'm fine. Give me a hug, Farida..."

I breathed deeply and moved closer to him. Pinatong ko ang aking mukha sa kaniyang dibdib at yumakap. He embraced me and kissed my hair softly.

"Don't worry... we're near catching that scum," he whispered.

"I'm not worrying about that. I'm worried about you," my voice sounds so serious and silken at the same time.

He laughed softly, his arms tightening around me. "I'm fine. Sleeping less is nothing to me."

"I don't care!" I hissed and rose a bit to face him. He's now smiling widely. "What if you get sick? Don't you think you're being too much? Why don't you sleep at night when you're working all day?"
