After eating breakfast, Dipper decided that if he was up, he might as well start on his work. He slapped a hand to his forehead, realizing that he had no work space yet, having just moved in. maybe he could use the attic. It was a decent size, and he didn't really have anything else to use it for now that he was sleeping in Ford's old room.Dipper yawned as he walked up the creaky old stair, knowing he should probably go back to sleep but deciding that getting a head start on his work was more important.
He opened the door expecting there to be some cloud of dust, but it actually seemed pretty well kept for not being lived in or probably used for about the last ten years.
Dipper walked into the room, feeling more than a little blind in the pitch black. He stumbled, wishing he remembered where the light switch was. He took another step and suddenly tripped on something large. He braced his hands in an attempt to catch himself but still landed on the large something. A large breathing something. Dipper scrambled away, trying to figure out what he'd landed on when he heard a faint groan from the large something below him. With a shock, Dipper realized the something was a person. He jumped up and backed away until he hit a wall where he ran his hands along it until he found a light switch.
Light flooded the room, and Dipper whirled around to see what he had fallen on. After he turned around and felt his blood run cold when he realized who it was.
Dipper stood there looking at the humanized version of the thing that almost killed him and his sister ten years ago. The thing that was currently laying on the floor was almost unrecognizable from the cuts and bruises all over his skin.
All Dipper could feel was the pounding in his head. All he could hear was the blood rushing in his ears. All he could see was his nightmares.
He came back to his senses when a quiet moan slipped from the crumpled figure before him. Dipper hesitantly stepped closer to Bill, unsure if this was a trick or not.
"Bill?"
The demon gave no answer, and Dipper decided not even Bill was thorough enough in his schemes to put up this good of an act. Dipper knelt down and rolled Bill towards him so he could see the blond boy's face.
The first thing he noticed was the Victorian style clothing, the older boy was wearing a deep blue cape -Dipper didn't even know where he managed to find it- and a yellow waist coat. An eye patch brought Dippers attention to Bills face. There was a thin line of blood seeping from beneath the eye patch. Bruises trailed down his face and neck before disappearing into the collar of his dress shirt. He had blood staining through the right side. Luckily, the blood seemed to be old and not an active wound, so Dipper figured he could deal with that after he dealt with the demon's existence.
Dipper reached forward carefully and slowly removed his eye patch. He sighed in relief to find that the blood came from a small cut just under his eyebrow and not from a missing eye.
Dipper pushed down his panic and tried to figure out what to do. It was probably a bad idea to take care of Bill on an attic floor. But Dipper had no way to move him. Knowing his best option was to get Bill into a bed, Dipper needed to bring him downstairs.
Getting an idea, he ran downstairs and into the kitchen. There it was, just as he remembered it. He grabbed the cart he had been using for the boxes and lugged it up the stairs. Once he saw Bill again, he realized his mistake. The cart was not big enough for a body.
Deciding he might as well just work with this, he grabbed Bill's torso, wrapping his arms under the slightly bigger boy's armpits. He barely managed to get Bill's crumpled body into the cart. Letting out a sigh of relief, he slowly and painstakingly pushed the cart down the stairs, wincing with every little ker-thump from the steps.
Relief filled him when he got to the bottom. Maneuvering around the boxes, he managed to get Bill into his bedroom and onto his bed. he looked at the nearly dead demon and realized with a spike of panic that before he could buy supplies, he would have to take off the older boys shirt to see the damage.
Dipper was able to get the cape off pretty easily, but, when he tried to move on he found that bill vest and shirt were stuck to his body from the dried blood. Cursing dipper went to find scissors, which were rather easy come by as he had been using multiple pairs around the house to unpack boxes. After locating a decent pair, he made his way back to his bedroom and began cutting away bill shirt. Soon after, he got Bill's shirt off, he left the room to throw away the bloodied shirt.
After Dipper threw out the shirt, he went to the living room. When he got there, he registered what just happened. He started to panic more and more until he had a full-on panic attack. It got harder for him to breathe, his heart began to race, and he felt dizzy and trembling.
Bill was in his bed. Bill cipher. He collapsed onto the couch and distantly felt grateful he remembered to bring it with him, mostly though all Dipper could think about was the demon in his bedroom. The very injured demon in his bedroom.
Dipper let out a groan. He had no medical supplies. He would have to run to the store.
