we searched every inch of south haven for chris. there was still one place we haven't searched though. the beach. me and eric searched one side of the beach while our birds searched the other half.

"god knows where he could have gone." eric said , skipping a seashell into the water. "he was always in trouble growing up." i held his hand and we both stopped walking to look at each other.

"don't worry , eric." i reassured him. "the crow and the raven will find him." he let go of my hand and sighed as he sat down on the sand. "well .. they better find him .."

i sat down nextx to him but he got up to continue walking. "i don't think my parents can handle another loss." i got up as well and followed him. "just forget about your parents for a .."

i was cut off by the raven giving me a vision. i saw a vision of a man and a women who were both blonde wearing these weird cloaks. the woman's was white and the man's was black. they were both holding wands to chris' neck and chris was tied to a tree.

"eric!" i said. he looked at me startled. "i just got a vision. i know where chris is let's go!! follow me!!" both of us ran to where chris was. the raven and the crow was up in the tree watching the two sorcerers.

but there were also two more birds up there with them : a nightingale and an owl. oddly , they weren't making noises against each other. they were peaceful.

"where's your brother , chris?" the man asked him. "i don't know , jason!" chris exclaimed in fear. chris then met eyes with eric and me. "the hell are you looking at?" jason and the woman looked behind them and saw us.

"let him go." said eric. the couple started laughing. "unless your name is eric draven , i don't care about what you say." jason held his wand up to eric's neck.

eric started laughing maniacally. jason furrowed his eyebrows. "what's so funny? i'll kill you!" jason stopped himself from attacking eric when eric met eyes with him. jason looked frightened.

"i am eric draven."

jason took the wand away from eric's neck. "you're the crow?" eric nodded. jason took the hood of his cloak off. "my apologies , sir." jason bowed to eric as if he was royalty. the woman did the same thing.

eric rolled his eyes at the two of them. "you don't have to bow to me." both of them raised up immediately. "my apologies again , sir." eric sighed. "you don't have to call me sir either. just eric."

jason nodded. "alright." eric rolled his eyes again. "now can you please let my brother go? my parents are worried sick about him." jason nodded immediately.

"right." he looked at the woman. "what are you just standing there for? release him!" the woman nodded and untied chris from the tree he was tied up to.

"so .. what's this about? why did you need to come and find me?" eric asked the both of them. jason and the woman looked at each other and then back at eric.

"there's a great threat against you. top dollar .. he's planning to kill you." me and eric looked at each other in confusion and then back at jason. "who's top dollar?" i asked.

"tall man with long brown hair. always wearing a suit." me and eric widened our eyes as we looked at each other again. "what? have you seen him?" both of us nodded.

"that's the guy that kidnapped eric's sister veronica!" i said. the woman took her hood off and cleaned her wand off with her shirt. "that was a test." she said. "so he could know what you look like so he'll be prepared."

the raven landed on my shoulder and the crow landed on eric's as well. "are those your birds?" eric asked , pointing to the owl and the nightingale in the tree.
