Grim turned his head on the arms he'd crossed over his pillow in order to glare at his mostly-closed door for the fourth time. It had only been about fifteen minutes, but he was already feeling uneasy about having left Ian tied up.

It was his normal go-to for punishments when dealing with someone from the BDSM community, but...

Sighing, he pushed himself up, then reached up and mussed his hair so badly that the gaming headphones he'd put on went tumbling to his blankets.

He was still frustrated, but he couldn't really consider himself mad. He hadn't been mad during that whole interaction, to be honest. Running a hand down his face, he clenched his teeth and groaned out a sigh, then forced himself to get his ass up off the bed.

His first few steps towards his door were stomps, but by the time he walked into Ian's bedroom, he'd pretty much calmed down completely.

Until, that is, he saw what awaited him.

It should have only taken him one glance to realize that the ropes weren't untied, leaving Ian's only possible means of escape as shifting, but for some reason, none of that even registered in Grim's mind.

All he noticed was that Ian was gone.

His heart immediately began thrumming against his ribs as he hurried into the living room, only to find it completely empty.

"Ian?" he questioned as he looked around, then doubled back to check the bathroom.

Not there, either...

"Ammo? Bubba?" he called out next as he did another lap of his small home, yet still came up empty.

He even checked to see if Bubba had gotten himself stuck in the refrigerator again, but the little vagrant was nowhere to be seen.

Hang on.

Walking over to the counter, his brow furrowed as he picked up Ian's keys, then Ammo's.

He then looked towards the door.

Their shoes are still here, too.

What the hell was going on?

He was just turning to go check the backyard when he heard his phone chime in his bedroom.

Without thinking he turned and immediately went to check it, but when the message appeared on his screen, he was even more confused about what was going on.

Ammo'sHoe: Ammo is resting at my house.

The man even sent his address a moment later.

"What in the ever loving hell is going on?"

Shaking himself out of his shock, Grim unlocked his phone and texted Harrison back.

Grim: Is Ian with him?

The man replied immediately, but not with the words Grim wanted to hear.

Ammo'sHoe: No, he isn't, and Ammo didn't mention him.

The fuck you mean he isn't?!

He was getting angry now, and he was three seconds away from calling the fuck face and telling him to bring his man home right away, but before his shaking fingers could start the call, he threw his phone on his bed and growled out his frustration.

There was no reason for Harrison to be hiding his Ian.

Grim stomped back into the living room, but then paused.
