Ren had fallen asleep on him while he'd been working on some new crafting recipes in their game. The cat had, of course, jumped up into his lap without permission and made himself perfectly at home against his chest before passing out within seconds.
Thankfully, he wasn't playing with anyone else at that moment and had no plans to start a match anytime soon, so he just let the stubborn thing do what it wanted.
And yet... now he had a very naked man cuddled up in his lap, purring loudly right next to his ear!
Of course, that put his possum on edge, and for the first time in two days, it began to give off little yelps of nervous terror as it paced around his skull.
"You know, I could take advantage of you so easily like this," he said dully as he poked Ian's nose twice, then squeezed it briefly before pressing a button on his controller that triggered a macro to continue crafting what he was working on.
While he was doing that Ian wiggled closer and turned the volume up on his purrs.
Yeah, my bad. You would like it if I took advantage of you, huh?
That hadn't even really been a question. The guy would have probably spread his legs for him even dead asleep.
Rolling his eyes at the thought, Grim reached over towards his bed and grabbed one of his blankets, then quickly got it situated around Ian.
"There, now I won't be tempted to do things to you," he joked with a chuckle as he tapped the macro button on his controller again.
He felt the man move a little here and there before his arms slowly lifted to wrap around his shoulders.
"You... can do anything... to me," Ian whispered, his words deep with sleep.
"Oh?" Grim replied nonchalantly as he pressed the button on his controller again.
While he waited for another response, his phone began to vibrate, making him pick it up after glancing at the name on the screen.
Ammo'sHoe, hah.
As soon as he accepted the call and lifted it to his ear, Harrison began rambling.
"Dude, how do I stop his rabbit from getting into the fridge? He's already eaten a week's worth of lettuce since this morning!"
Grim bit his lips to keep from bursting out laughing!
Rabbit?!
"He's a capybara, and there's not much stopping him unless you're there with him. You could try to get a fridge lock since he's pretty darn stubborn. That's probably going to be your best bet," he replied calmly as he began rubbing his thumb over the blanket covering Ian's waist.
"It doesn't even seem like his human side is there at all when he shifts! I mean, he's only chased me around the house once, when I tried to get him out of the toilet, which was gross, but is he really going to keep opening my fridge?" Harrison asked, almost begging for another solution to his problem.
"Well, why not just take him with you to work? He's a pretty chill capybara. He might do well just hanging around while you train your clients," Grim offered.
Harrison seemed surprised by the idea.
"I... I mean I guess I could? Do you think he would wear a harness? I'm not too comfortable letting him walk freely yet. Especially since I live near a busy road."
And the fact that he's suicidal.
Whether the capy was or not though, he wasn't sure. It was better to be safe then sorry, though.
