Jax was a little surprised by Ragatha's offer of talking, but he decided to go along with it as he held the door open for her and she sat down on his bed before he joined her.

"So, what do you want to talk about Dollface~?" He asked, trying to seem nonchalant and pretend like he wasn't angrily throwing knives at his door.

"Jax, are you feeling ok? You seem to be kind of...out of it lately" Ragatha replied, giving a gentle look as she showed genuine concern for Jax.

"What do you mean "Out of it"?" Jax asked, trying to pretend he didn't know what Ragatha was talking about.

"You seem strangely upset lately...you're not as aggressive with the pranks and you don't seem to be laughing as much from them either...almost like if something's bothering you" She replied, starting to see small cracks showing in his mentality.

Jax only laughed lightly, still keeping up the act that he didn't know what she was on about "What? Me..being bothered? That's a good one Dollface~" but Ragatha wasn't buying this facade Jax was seemingly putting up.

"Jax...you don't need to pretend that you're fine when you're not, you can tell me what's going on" Ragatha replied, holding Jax's hand with her own in reassurance.

Jax shook slightly as he felt Ragatha clench her hand with his gently, the sensation of their fingers intertwining felt foreign but welcomed and even if he wouldn't admit it publicly, he did enjoy the feeling but he still continued to pretend that all was fine.

"I already told you..I'm fine, it's nothing really"

But Ragatha still didn't buy it, She could tell Jax was bluffing and desperately trying to convince her that he was fine but his face said otherwise. "Come on Jax, I just want to help you" she replied softly.

"Rags...I'm fine ok? I'm good...you don't need to worry about me" He replied, albeit his tone was now getting slightly nervous as Ragatha continued to see the cracks in his bravado.

Ragatha could feel Jax's facade slowly break down, so she decided to pull out her secret weapon which was to gently place her hand on Jax's palm and look into his eyes with a sad, pleading "Please...just tell me"

Jax looked at Ragatha's sad and pleading face, it was clear she just wanted to help him above all and he couldn't help but feel that his facade was crumbling every time he spoke so there was no point in trying to hide it anymore, So he finally gave in and let out a small, slightly annoyed sigh as he confessed the truth.

"Ok...fine....maybe I'm not as "Ok" or "Fine" as I claim" he replied, the annoyance in his tone was clear but there was also a hint of relief in it.

"Thank you Jax" Ragatha replied softly. "But..can you tell me what's bothering you so that I can see if I can help?" She asked him as he lay down tiredly in his bed while she sat next to him, gently caressing his cheek.

Jax let out a tired sigh before responding. "Look, I think we both already know that I'm not great with words or expressing myself...but I guess I can try"

He then took a deep breath before speaking with a slightly irritated but also slightly relieved tone. "Ever since last night when you had your..little anxiety filled episode, I couldn't help but start feeling a strange sense of...concern for you..or something like that"

Ragatha look down with her eyes widening a bit at his confession. "So you've been worried about me since last night?" She asked, slightly amused by Jax's sudden change in persona.
