Chapter 9: Profane Exit

Hey guys! I just wanted to thank you all for being so patient for this chapter of the story to be published, I was just incredibly busy with school, tests and evaluations but now, I'm happy to say it's all behind me now and I can get back to writing this story. I do want to apologize for taking this long and I promise that I'll try to write more frequently to make up for lost time. Again, I just want to say thank you all for being patient while I was away since this definitely took longer than it needed.

Also, I do want to give a small warning since this chapter contains some uncensored swearing for those of you who may not want to read a story with uncensored profanity but anyways, on with the chapter!

After throwing an internal fit of anger and
frustration for having accidentally called Ragatha cute, Jax composed himself as he held the key that would help Zooble skip today's adventure. It was something he'd use from time to time but figured Zooble would probably use it more than he did, it was also pretty convenient since he had no idea what else he could give to Zooble due to their history of toxicity and animosity towards each other.

He then stepped out of his room and closed the door walking back over to Ragatha who had also composed herself albeit still with a mild blush on her cheeks. He sighed and crossed his arms behind his back.

"Sorry about what happened back there, I don't know what got to me" He replied, looking unamused by the situation prior.

Ragatha blushed a little harder but in her usual good nature tried to brush it off. "Oh..no, it's fine..it's not really a big deal"

"Yeah well, I'd rather pretend that didn't happen" Jax admitted.

Ragatha then thought this was a good time to change the subject to hopefully save herself some embarrassment and potentially confess the fact that she had fallen in love with the so-called "Bad boy" of the circus. "So uh..what's the deal with this key you here?"

Jax smirked slightly as he spun the key around on the top of his finger. "Well, it's a key to a secret part of the circus that Caine can't access~" He replied smugly.

"Wait..an area that Caine can't access? How'd you even find it?" Ragatha asked confused and slightly concerned.

Jax then shrugged it off while still smirking as he gave a simple "I have a lot of free time in between pranks and adventures~"

Right...Anyways, you know what to do right?" Ragatha asked, changing the subject once again.

"Yeah yeah, I know. Go into Zooble's room, give them to key, and Leave. You do realize I'm not a child right?" Jax asked, slightly annoyed by Ragatha assuming he couldn't pull something this simple off.

Ragatha giggled slightly seeing Jax's annoyance and decided to continue her mild teasing. "Well, you did say you don't know how to be nice AND you are technically the youngest member of the cast here meaning you're the closest one to a child~"

"Ah-......F$ck you" Jax replied, slightly annoyed by her response but his smile and tone were still snarky and didn't have any real punch or edge to them and Ragatha could tell it from a mile away.

"Alright then Jax, go ahead and show Zooble how kind you can be," She told him.

"Heh, I'll try~" He replied smugly as he slowly opened the door to Zooble's room.

Zooble was sitting on the other side of their bed with their chest of replaceable limbs and accessories, trying to figure out what to wear for the day and hopefully find a combination that not only felt comfortable but also that they liked. All of that thinking and analyzing was completely ruined by Jax speaking up after opening the door.

"Hey, Zooble~" Jax replied as he grinned smugly.

Zooble instantly felt their eyes slump down into an annoyed, deadpan expression and their antennas shook in annoyance the instant they heard Jax's voice.

"Oh great, Bugs Bunny is in my room" They replied in annoyance.

Jax stopped in his tracks, his ears shot up slightly from the nickname in offence. "What did you just call me?"

"You heard what I said, you dumb rabbit b!tch" Zooble answered back.

Jax growled in anger at Zooble's response, he wasn't a fan of being insulted and if this were any other scenario, He would have insulted Zooble back but, since Ragatha was watching him, he couldn't bring himself to actually do it...so in a rare move for him, he said nothing.

"Look, I'm not here to mess with your detachable limbs or whatever...instead, I have something for you~" He replied as his smug smile returned.

"I swear to god if it's a prank, I will strangle the life out of you" Zooble replied, already preparing for it to be a prank.

Geez relax, it's not a prank. It's this. "He replied as he showed off the key"

Zooble looked at the Key cautiously with confusion in their eyes. "Ok...what the hell am I supposed to do with this?" They asked.

"Oh, it's just a little something for you to get out of Today's adventure~" Jax replied, passing the key to Zooble.

Zooble was still very much hesitant but also a little intrigued as they received the key. "How exactly?"

"Follow me~" Jax replied smugly as the two walked outside of Zooble's room and went out into the main hallway.

Jax then led Zooble down the main hallway before he stopped at the far end of the hallway, where he found a secret hidden lock and opened it to reveal a big empty white void. "Here we are~"

"And what the hell is this meant to be?" Zooble asked.

"Oh, just a place I like to call "the white void", a place that's out of Caine's reach where you can say anything you want and not worry about being censored~" Jax explained.

Zooble was hesitant since they knew how much of a liar Jax could be but, they also definitely didn't want to be part of the adventure so they went along with it and set foot into the white void.

"Alright, have fun~" Jax replied smugly before closing the door and tossing the key to Zooble.

"Well that's great, I'm now stuck in this stupid white void" Zooble replied, talking to themselves in frustration. "There's no way this actually works, Fucking Dumbass...

Zooble let out a gasp and froze up realizing that their swearing hadn't been censored. "Holy shit, this actually works"

Zooble then began to look around the empty white void, realizing they were all Alone before speaking again. "Caine is a Fucking bitch!" They yelled before realizing that too wasn't censored.

Zooble's eyes widened in surprise and growing excitement as they realized the endless possibilities. "Oh my god...I-I can say whatever I want. I CAN SAY WHATEVER I WANT!" They yelled out excitedly as their yells were echoed in the void.

"I CAN SAY WHATEVER THE FUCKING FUCK I FUCKING WANT!"

Zooble would then proceed to pull out an entire dictionary's worth of swear words, each uncensored profanity more therapeutic and stress-releasing than the last and eventually after many, MANY more Non-family-friendly words, They laid down on the white floor, relaxing in it with their arms behind their head.

"Wow....I gotta use this way more often"
